Ive been with Firefox since 0.4 20+years and am thinking of binning this browser. The Firefox updates wipe your bookmarks ,your page set up with the 4 rows and your preferred sites they then push in the boxes last visited or recommenced stories i had to reinstall and older version,get bookmarks from a different drive i have to get back to where i was.

  I have turned off updates but am continually bombarded with download latest version,Firefox used to be great ,you got what you want,no adds,no pushing stuff its starting to feel like google chrome.
  So before i bin it,is there any way you can save ALL your setting as you like them and reinstall them with your preferences as was?     If not i will give Duck duck go, a go as my new browser.

I have installed windows 11 23H2 to my pc and Firefox 128.0 (64-bit) and after re-installation that I made to my pc and installed Firefox, the Ctrl-shift-M does not working. A little research in google, drove me to refresh firefox, but the problem did not solved.

Any ideas of what I have to do to return this operation?

Hello, If I create custom "Recently bookmarked" like place:folder=BOOKMARKS_MENU&folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS&folder=TOOLBAR&queryType=1&sort=12&excludeItemIfParentHasAnnotation=livemark%2FfeedURI&maxResults=10&excludeQueries=1 and I sync my data with other device, this bookmark gets wiped on both devices. How this can be solved? Thank you

When attempting to submit payment information if I am placing an order online, I try to use the autofill method with my saved payment method and my laptop's biometric scanner. But the issue is even after using the biometric scanner or entering a PIN number, I still have to manually enter the payment information because the field does not autofill. What do I need to do in order to fix this? I have updated my payment information and ensured the information is correct.

Firefox browser problem – I can no longer log into the visa gift card web site to see my balance or log into my medicare account, both web sites say there are imbedded keyboard trackers in my fire fox browser. I deleted my account uninstalled the browser waited 2 days then reinstalled and got the same results. Can you help I like firefox better than the others.

Hello! I've had this problem a while now and it starts to annoy me. When I open youtube on firefox, it doesn't open the homescreen of youtube it opens one video. The exact same one since I'v got this labtop and I don't know how to change it. Greetings!

i have for over 7 months that i have multible firefox crashes during the day, i only uses the pc for gaming, but now also for other stuff and use firefox for it.

Can anyone help me out ? and if more info is needed i would be happy to share, as long as this problem can be solved

When I attempt to start either Firefox or Thunderbird they continuously cycle saying "Thunderbird is already running, but is not responding. The old Thunderbird process must be closed to open a new window". When I close it down - it cycles to same message on both Mozilla products. Last night it all worked well - today this. I am on WIN 11 SH3.

As it never starts I cannot use Mozilla troubleshooting.

Hello, I'm facing a strange issue. I regularly access the website https://deltaexecuter.com on my browser to download the software, but today I faced a problem. Let me describe to you in detail:

The problem is that the file appears to download successfully, but when I try to open it or locate it in the file explorer, it isn't there.

I have searched and searched for solution to this and nothing. My account keeps asking for primary account password. I don not remember it and I am not using Sync. How do I resolve this. It is very annoying.

My configuration is the following: Windows 11, internal display connected to iGPU and external UHD display to nvidia-HDMI port, multiple firefox windows are opened (1 one the internal screen, 2 on the external).

Then in Windows->Settings->GPU I can select firefox to run on either iGPU (powersaving) or on Nvidia GPU (max perf), the problem is the following: Whenever I set firefox running on iGPU, there would be a massive stuttering/framedrop on an external display (connected to NVIDIA), while a perfectly smooth browsing on internal display, and vice versa.

My first attempt was to disable webrenderer compositor or switching it to a software rendering, which fixes the heavy stuttering, but the scrolling becomes overall less fluid/responsive.

However, setting "layers.gpu-process.enabled" to "false" seemingly solves this problem completely. Now I have a perfectly smooth scrolling on both displays, regardless of which GPU is used in Windows->Settings->GPU (nvidia's is arguably a little but more responsive).

Hope this helps someone, or maybe dev team could look deeper into this.
