Started receiving pop ups stating virus attack from Mozilla and via cq5g6mojubcc7385jauo.deviceconnectnetwork from Mozilla showing McAffee, Critical Virus Alert, Virus attack. Receive 3 at time and I can't see the right side of my scree and I need to. Is this malware and if so how do I remove it fast? Thank you.

I don't know why or if it's related to Firefox, but For the last couple of weeks after logging into Instagram or Facebook or Disney+ or Paramount+ or X I get an email from them that says I logged in from a device I don't usually use. I have had the same device for several years. Getting those emails is annoying and also concerning. Can I fix this somehow? FYI I use Duck Duck Go via Firefox for my internet searches.

Hi! From some time now i have problem with GUI elements overlapping each other. It started with the window control buttons (that part, where you can close the window). Esthetics aside, it was not that big deal, so I just ignored it, but some time ago similar overlap appeared on address bar - so now I don't see what I'm writing. This is a big deal, now I can't really tell if I made a typo, I'm not able to correct it or I can't see if what I'm writing is mixed with original url, stuff like that.

I'm on Manjaro Linux and Firefox version is 127.0 (64 bits) I've tried to reinstall Firefox with different sources, like Flatpak for example, but the issues persists. Has anyone an idea how to fix this?

Latest update (127.0.2) erased all my data. Gone are my bookmarks, passwords, sign-in shortcuts, history, etc. and I'm trying not to panic. Most of my passwords are backed up but my bookmarks are gone as is all my sign-in shortcuts, etc.

I always try to keep updated and never have had a problem with anything other than having to relearn a few new things; but this is a first for me.

So, I've switched to Firefox as my main browser (I was using it before, but as a secondary option) and I've spotted this native extension called Pocket.

When I pressed it, I was on YouTube Music already, so it automatically saved that url. Now, the reason of contacting support is more of concern than anything. When I pressed it, a weird message has been attached to it, so I am wondering why, as it is confusing to say the least. I've attached a screenshot with the saves, which also has the weird message and YouTube for comparison next to it.

Fresh FF install right after setting up OS. Opening FF from OS opens home page. If FF is not running & I click a link in another program (email, GIMP help menu link, etc.) FF opens the linked page but also opens the home page (2 tabs). If FF is running, the linked page is opened in a new tab, leaving current tab(s) in place, the expected behavior.

FF is default browser. Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed is selected. Created a vanilla test profile with no modifications to settings, made it default, and got the same result.

On my previous laptop (don't remember FF version - whatever the latest Intel ESR version was about a month ago) opening FF from the OS opened to the home page. Opening FF (not running) from a link in another program opened only the linked page and not the linked page + home page. FF already running behaved the same as now.

My OS account name is changed in the troubleshooting information.

I am currently on windows 11 for ARM (surface laptop 7) and this problem is occurring with both Firefox as well as Firefox developer edition. It's also only happening on my external monitor. I have done some searching and found posts from as long as 4 years ago. The posted solution is to disable any compatibility options but in my case none are selected. This is driving me nuts, does anyone know of a solution? This has to be firefox specific because no other program does this, including other browsers. I have included a screenshot to show what it looks like.

No issues in troubleshooting mode, when I disable all of my add-ons and themes the issue persists. I have reset my browser entirely as well as uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issues.

Fire Fox browser js still not working right it dont change scenes you click on a link ^ it just sets there & spins back & forth at the top. I have HP warranty they looked at everything they uninstalled it & re installed it still does the same thing. Crome works fine HP says it your website all the up dates is what messed it up sowhy cant you fix it

My old 'Legion' laptop had my (I'd guess) open tabs history from late June! I now have a new laptop, and I logged into Firefox, and didn't see all history from June. I need those 'previous' sessions... Where are They??

Prior to ~1 week ago, my process of using Firefox was as follows:

• Open a new tab, search for something, click through a few links

If I couldn't find anything relevant in the first page of results, I'd navigate back to the Firefox Home Page and try another search. I hate going past the first page of results!

However, as of ~1 week ago, I can no longer navigate to the Firefox Home Page - why is this?

I am not computer savy and I have tried every way I know to get to the following web site. Please help me. I put it in and it just says not logged in. I have tried changing passwords and that does not matter. I was using Firefox when suddenly it was no longer there. When I clicked on the icon, it reopened, with all my bookmarks and history, but no tabs! I stupidly shut it down again. The forums all said to just go to History > Restore Previous Session, only there was no such option in History. I tried to do a Windows System Restore to several days ago, but it keeps failing and suggesting that I turn off my anti-virus, which I have. Further reading in the Mozilla forums said to take an old upgrade.jsonlz4-20240618110440 (or whatever date) file from the sessionstore-backups folder and move it into the main profile folder and rename it sessionstore.jsonlz4 (I can no longer use the recovery.jsonlz or previous.jsonlz files because I'd stupidly shut down Firefox after it had loaded with no tabs). I have done this and restarted Firefox, but still get no tabs. That file is huge (22MB) and I've examined its contents and can verify that the tabs are there. So why isn't Firefox reading it when I run it and displaying my tabs? I did see that other people on the forums had this problem but I didn't see a solution. One remote possibility may be that my current version is 127.0.2 (64-bit), while the upgrade.jzonlz... file was clearly generated as a snapshot of when the version was 127.0.1. What can I do to restore my tabs, in light of the fact that I don't have a recovery.jsonlz or previous.jsonlz file with the tabs any more and Windows System Restore is unable to restore my system to several days ago?

I've been using Firefox for a while and there is one file storage site that is always an issue for me. Downloads work but frequently, it stops near the end of the transfer and shows "failed" in the Library window.

Every time, I can click "resume" and it works but it's extremely annoying. If I don't watch the download carefully, I might miss the "failed" message and then the download link times out. There should be a setting to automatically retry a certain number of times.

I've tried multiple add-ons and none of them work.
