I have both Win7 and Win10 on separate drives. I have been migrating from 7 to 10. From all appearances Firefox on both OS's are sync'd. I have asked for my passwords to be sync'd, yet they have not migrated to Win 10. Bookmarks have so I know something is working. Any advice? Thanks Chris

I am having two problems, both related to downloading files only on Firefox, these issues don't occur on other browsers when downloading the same files.

The first issue is that when downloading a file from Google Drive, the download always fails. It opens up a menu asking me where to save the file but the files name is "download" with no extension, when starting the download it will fail. In the images below you can see what it looks like. This happens with most files on Google Drive, usually those larger than 50MB (a VERY rough estimate). Both in the default tab and in the container tabs I use.

The second issue is very similar, when downloading a file, this time from anywhere on the web, when asking me where to save the file, the name of the download is a string of random letters and numbers with no extension. When starting the download it fails because the name is too long, after renaming it to something shorter it still fails. I don't really have any sites I can give as examples because this problem only occurs randomly.

For both problems I have tried attaching the correct filename and extension but it still fails.

Will 'someone' please call me back So I can explain my question more specifically? My security protection program states IT is unable to update (or indicate that my Mozilla browser account is already updated) my Mozilla Browser to version to xxx.x.2? Thank You

I imported my bookmarks through an html backup but I dont see them on the bookmarks bar and when I sync my chrome browser data everything is all screwed up How can I import my chrome data minus bookmarks

When I click on Add-On Support it says Page Not Found. That's pretty basic. Screenshot attached. This is not a button/link for a specific add-on, it's for Firefox as a whole.

Additionally, when I use LastPass, the LastPass icon does not appear anywhere I can access it, which is a basic feature that works properly in Chrome. I use this add-on multiple times per day which makes it very difficult to use Firefox as my main browser because I can't do 2-clicks to get to my passwords, I have to go to lastpass.com and login to their website, even though the add-on is installed.

I see this is a known bug but this bookmark sidebar has suddenly started to appear on my desktop when ever I open Firefox and there seems to be no understandable method to turn it off although there are several arcane techniques that require me to go to weird places and change the names of files. No indication of what the unintended consequences of that might be. Is this something you can fix? Will the next update. This is really frustrating. Help please. So to be sure, I do not consider the challenge of getting into the pants of a program to fix a bug to be fun, exciting, interesting, etc. This is a tool and my browser is acting up. That is a pain in the butt not an adventure.

I have turned on the "Show a touch keyboard when necessary" option, but in my tests, all software and browsers (Chrome, edge, Steam, etc.) are able to call up the touch keyboard properly, except Firefox

I have a new computer with windows 11 and eset. eset used to open my browser to specif bookmarks for my banks and brokerage accounts. but not now. what is wrong. 127.0.2 and eset 17.2.7.0

I log into my bank account. I can see and control my checking and savings pages normally. When I click on my credit card page all I get is a blank page with the message "Working on it" it worked fine but opened a little slow prior to 127.01 or 127.0. I'm not sure which version it started failing in. However, it all works fine in Brave as does YouTube. I don't want to switch browsers or have multiple browsers and I would prefer one that doesn't depend on Google but I also need to be able to depend on it. I am running win 11 on my new computer but my old computer and laptop are win 10 with Firefox 127.02 and my bank account sight works fine. The only problem is the YouTube problem and that's across all of my computers.

I subscribed to an educational series that includes several kinds of presentation, including MP3, PDF, and video. The videos do not work. Not at all. I was directed to try a different browser, which I did: microsoft edge. The videos play using that browser.

I MUCH prefer to use Firefox -- do not like anything microsoft, but here we are, trapped in bill gates' monopoly.

I looked at "settings" but was not able to see anything there I thought would allow these videos to play in firefox. Be advised, I am NOT a computer person, so anything you might suggest, please be very literal, specific and define any acronyms -- do not assume I know anything about this stuff, because I don't -- I do not speak computer.

Again, I MUCH prefer to use firefox so I am hoping you can help me to watch these videos in firefox. The website is Goodness Lover (weird name, I know) it deals with diet, microbiome research etc.

Hi there! How can I delete the "go back one page shortcut"? Every time I side-scroll while holding option I go back and this is interfering with another web-app.

So, I've switched to Firefox as my main browser (I was using it before, but as a secondary option) and I've spotted this native extension called Pocket.

When I pressed it, I was on YouTube Music already, so it automatically saved that url. Now, the reason of contacting support is more of concern than anything. When I pressed it, a weird message has been attached to it, so I am wondering why, as it is confusing to say the least. I've attached a screenshot with the saves, which also has the weird message and YouTube for comparison next to it.

When Firefox opens up the address is typed in at top left in small print. The center bar is there, open, but if you click on it, while the cursor blinks, when you type in an address nothing appears as it does with Google Chrome which we have replaced with Firefox. My wife finds the top left print too small and wants me to go back to Google Chrome where she can read what she has entered. I cannot find anything, anywhere which will allow her to do this. We use Thunderbird and have made a few donations over the years. Hope you can help.
