Windows 10 -
At a loss here: My primary password appears to be corrupted
- it rejects my correct information
- the enter-your-user-name-password dialog is showing up, seemingly, whenever it wants to -- open a new webpage, it shows up; attempting to open a password-protected WordPerfect doc, it shows up; etc., etc.
- There are many (most of the) websites that I visit that do not need a log-in password -- but the dialog just keeps popping up repeatedly as if they did. Whatever that's about . . .
- Going to Firefox / Settings / Passwords, the dialog again pops up (seems to be every time I hit ENTER, so I just CANCEL and keep trying to move ahead), so that means I can't even get into the settings to make any changes -- to reset the primary password requires logging-on using that very same password, which the dialog rejects
Would like to just remove it, since it's proving to be a pointless process.
How does one delete a corrupted password process?
Thanks for any information. Appreciated.
