Hi All,

I'm using Firefox on 24 PC's in a primary school computer Lab, I have had reports of students installing extensions and plugins that i wish to stop, also i've had issues with students not signing out of their email and other students gaining access.

Im looking for solutions for the following and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction -

1. Disabling the installations of extensions and plugins. 2. Clearing browsing history/logging out of any accounts. 3. Locking settings so students can't change settings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Adam

Hello, PG&E just updated their webpage and it doesn't allow me to sign in. It informs me that Fire Fox isn't a compatible browser, all other websites are fine. It suggests Chrome as the preferred browser. We pay our utilities through their site and we enjoy Fire Fox.Can anyone help resolve this issue? Thanks

Hello. Thuderbird has been acting strangely for a few days, lots of Not Responding messages and then it sorts itself out. But now, when I open an ordinary e-mail, it opens up in a Send window! With the message which you will find in the attached Image. My version = 128.1.1 esr (64 bit) Lenovo Laptop Windows 10 Grateful for any help folks.

I use Sync on multiple computers for passwords. I have forgotten the Primary password on one of them. If I do a password reset on the one computer, does it affect the passwords stored on the Sync server, or maybe just the key4.db and logins.json folders on the computer being reset? I will not do a reset if the Sync'ed passwords could be affected, I'll just look them up on my phone. Thanks for your help!

Hello, the Secure Connection Failed started up after one of your recent updates. It is affecting News Max and my banks internet banking software. Both sites work fine in MS Edge. The fix I read on your site said to try this: "In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.

   Click I'll be careful, I promise! to continue to the about:config page.
   copy the next security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling and paste it in the search field
   double-click on it to make it false
   close the page, exit firefox and restart it. "

Doesn't work for me. What else can I try?

Up until the last couple days I have been able, for years, to enter a search query in the search bar. It no longer works, but the bar is still there.

Will this be fixed? Kind of a deal breaker for me. I have this functionality with other browsers.

Why doesn't Rumble work well on Firefox? Other browsers (Chrome) play the videos smoothly & quickly with no hangups or glitches, but Firefox constantly plays (eventually) audio but not video - it hangs up on the thumbnail. If I refresh about a thousand times the video will play. I thought this was a Rumble issue, but the site is smooth and problem-free on Chrome. I love using Firefox! Is there a setting I need to change, or is there an update Firefox could do? Thanks!

My Desktop crashed and I had to do a complete reset and reinstall of Windows Ten that deleted all my personal data. [It was a problematic event]

Now, when I attempt to load certain pages like Gab.com or Facebook it states that JavaScript must be enabled. But, after checking about:confif gor javascript it is, in fact, enabled.

Firefox Can’t Open This Page

After some of the recent updates, my entries into the url search bar work for 1-2 searches, then the search bar no longer functions until I close out firefox and then re-open it. Then, again this repeats itself each time I use the Firefox search bar.

In last few days some links and web URL's get redirected to Facebook pages. For example www.vh1.com redirects to https://www.facebook.com/VH1/. I have cleared cache and cookies. Oops just testing Chrome as I type this and the same thing happens there, so not Firefox solely. Still, anyone any suggestions where to start to look?

For the past few weeks, I’ve been having serious issues with the default search/address bar.

Usually when I want to search for something on my default search engine (Google atm), I just type in what I’m searching for in the top search/address bar, press enter and it will give me the google search results. But for the past few weeks, I’ve been having issues with this.

What happens is, when I type in something, press enter, most of the time nothing happens (but sometimes it works as it used to). I then have to mouse-click on the typed in search parameters in the search/address bar and press enter again. At that point it might “hold” and show me the search results. But other times, it doesn’t and I have to repeat the process up to 10 times before it finally holds and shows me the search results.

Even more annoying is when I’m already on some site in Firefox, and I want to type in a new site/search result over the existing one. It used to work just fine. But now, most of the time the same thing happens as above, except that when it doesn’t work the first time, typed in search parameters are gone, as it just shows the last site address in the search/address bar, so I have to go up to the search/address bar, type in the search parameters again, and press enter again, hoping that it will hold that time. If it doesn’t, I just have to repeat over and over again. So it’s basically easier to click a new tab, type the search parameters in there, and spam mouse-click, enter until it holds.

This is getting so annoying that I’m seriously considering moving away from Firefox and going to Chrome, which I honestly hate cause I really don’t want to support Chrome and want to stick with Firefox, but this issue is driving me nuts.

I have also tried troubleshooting the usual thing with “Refresh Firefox” and “Clear Cache”, removed all my extensions, and nothing helped.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening, and why I’m not finding any reports of a similar issue anywhere? What could actually be the issue here?

Foxfire refuses to load roboform as my start page. It keeps referring me to install the roboform extension. I don't want the extension. I want to see my roboform when Foxfire opens. Is there a work around? https://start.roboform.com/

After updating with Mozilla 129.02 yesterday my platform freezes completely after about 30 secs. I cannot even get the Task manager to work. I have to switch it off at the mains and hope the switch back on is not too harmful. ( 'Update' is fast becoming one of the most scariest words in the English language)

I got increasingly frustrated that google.com search page gets increasingly unresponsive under Firefox, and performing searches from the address bar does not do a thing. Does not respond. The page remains blank. Sometimes it remembers to respond, but most often, it does not. I wanted to search something in the search bar. No response after hitting Enter, even though, I can open any bookmarks or webpages other than google.com. If I type google.com in the address bar and hit enter, it reverts to the previous page. Such as, imagine that I was at www.mozilla.org, and in the address bar, I type google.com. I hit enter, and it just ignores it, and reverts to mozilla.org. But if I type microsoft.com, it goes to open microsoft.com in an instance. My Firefox constantly update itself and before, I always deleted the cache file, now I don't even let caching pages, still, it is like this. I am not sure what is going on.
