I have an IMAP email account with Telstra (Bigpond). SSL/TLS is set for Thunderbird account server and smtp. I have looked through lots of web messages without finding one on topic.

Via web browser I can connect to my Bigpond (Telstra) email without issue.

My Bigpond email will also not connect to Outlook, which was provided by my work which I left 3 weeks ago and this was happening on both my laptop and my mobile phone. Before August 2023, there was no problem and I could access my private Bigpond email account on both laptop and phone as added account in Outlook. One day in August 2023, Outlook started not connecting to my Bigpond email account both on my laptop and my phone. Telstra (Bigpond) told me last year that it was a Microsoft issue. Microsoft has denied this.

The fact that the same problem is happening when I want to add my Bigpond account to Thunderbird suggests it is not a problem with the email client (Outlook or Thunderbird) but either a Telstra or a local programme issue. I have Norton Antivirus, but I cannot see anything in that interfering with the email server connection.

I have tried re-setting my Bigpond webmail password and re-starting multiple times - no joy!

One of my desktop computers with Windows 10 updated to version 128 64 bit.

But my newer desktop computer with Windows 11 updated to version 128 32 bit.

Why would Thunderbird update my newer 64 bit computer with your 32 bit version?

Makes no sense.

Looks like Thunderbird never updated their software to be able to hide select folders which I have been asking for over a year. Even the old Windows Live Mail had this feature form 2011.

Hi Starting this weekend I have been unable to purchase items online using Firefox browser on my Windows Desktop. On the weekend I tried to purchase an item from PolarPro, but when I clicked on the checkout button it was unresponsive. I thought it likely that there was a glitch in their website and made the purchase using my iPad. Then today I tried to buy an item from Bandcamp and again had the ssame problem. When I clicked to confirm the purchase my screen was unresponsive. I tried to send an email to you guys and clicking on the send button, same again - nothing happened. This is a new thing and quite frustrating. Let's see if this email gets through. Cheers Richard Wedekind

When I click the button to “repair a folder”, some e-mails have disappeared.

The inbox file is too heavy and cannot be opened as a text file.

I moved the defaults file to an external HDD and saved it over the defaults file on my computer. I could not restore them.

Is there any other way to recover my email?

When i am in facebook and i want to do a live call or video chat,and when i hover the mouse over these options ,it no longer let's me do this and tells me that the browser not longer supports this action yet i could do this up until about 7 weeks ago im using firefox in 20:04 ubuntu,im also having difficulty on another web page ordering spare parts,it won't let me select or order part's either but when i use windows 10 with firefox browser everything works fine why is this same browser different system?? i don't get this please help

Mozilla tab keeps crashing (especially at YouTube) I was wondering if someone can help me find out why!

like tell me how to show the log or something to identify what is doing the crash.
