I cannot play YouTube videos using Firefox with Windows 10. I still have to use Chrome, even after I cleared my cache and cookies. I reinstalled Firefox and then I could watch YouTube videos for a few days, but now they stopped working again.

System specs below. Thunderbird is set with 1 account: A paid Yahoo email, with a LOT of messages (well over 36K), using IMAP (Yahoo only lets the most recent 10K come down via IMAP, sadly). Most emails do download and are correctly rendered. But around 10%, starting usually a month or so back from the high water mark of last update, show email source code (text of headers, mimeparts, etc.) for a totally different email than the one highlighted (a few days later, different sender, etc.) Checking the message on Yahoo, it renders correctly. There is no pattern to the corrupted messages: they can be from mailing lists, company marketing mails, an alert from my local town, whatever.

Once the error occurs, it is consistent across Thunderbird shut-and-restarts (still showing same wrong email source as before). Emails to either side (earlier and later) render properly in the message pane.

Double Clicking the message to it's own child pane renders a pane with Subject and From as blank, and the same email source text for a different email. Forwarding the email puts the email source code in as text (I was hoping the act of refreshing and reformatting might grab the correct content, but no).

Doing a Repair Mailbox (which seems to mean "download headers again, then download all the mail again" does seem to correct for a time (including the previously corrupted emails now rendering correctly)... but within a day or two, a new crop of messages will be corrupted, and the dance starts again.

Windows 10, 64 bit. Norton 360 set to exclude all mailbox directories. Thunderbird 115.12.2 (64-bit), though this has been happening since 110. No plugins, no extensions.

Are there diagnostic logs or other info I can share that can help us figure this out? I really like Thunderbird, but it's just unusable here. Outlook, Apple mail, other tools don't seem to have this problem.

I have an address in my address book that I received many emails from. About a month ago they started going to the bulk folder. How do i get that address restored so i can receive emails from them?

With about 60G of accumulated e-mail in several Microsoft accounts, I moved all accounts into T-bird and put most in local folders. This somehow became over 600G in size. Everything works and compacting seems to be getting done since it's been working some weeks now. Yet this ten-fold increase in size is unwieldy and very difficult to backup. Perhaps related, I notice that M'soft's "new" free Outlook app is present and perhaps running on this computer. And all the e-mails I send from my main Hotmail account are listed twice in the T-bird sent folder. About half of the times I start T-bird, I get a message saying that login to server outlook.office365.com with username xxxxxxxx@hotmail.com failed; the other accounts never do this. T-bird offers to retry, but that usually ends with a repeat of the same message. I've learned that if I let it open, with time, the e-mails do appear, though I don't know how or why. I've also been using Libreoffice successfully for months now though I doubt that anything to do with this. T-bird nicely solved the original e-mail oversize problem I had with Microsoft's size limitations and I'd appreciate advice on how to deal with what's happening.

For two days will tab crash for TikTok. For years, will not allow access to certain sites and no contest entries for the last few months. Worked before. No phone help and to download the browser doesn't work. I was upset as won't load TIktok and I NEED IT as use it daily. Please fix it ASAP!! I wasted time contacting Monzilla, as was only link for Firefox. They told me no help wasted today.

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. Some shades of white have a purple tinge to them. The amazon logo, certain themes, and other websites are slightly purple. This is only an issue in firefox, not any other program or browser.

No videos on any platform will play when I try to open them in Firefox. They are forever stuck on the thumbnail image of the video, and nothing happens when I hit play. I've had this happen a couple times and was able to resolve before by installing updates and uninstalling my Mozilla VPN, but this time nothing has worked. I've tried pretty much every solution I could find online:

• Updating Firefox
• Updating my computer
• Running in Incognito
• Running in troubleshooting mode
• Allowing autoplay
• Disabling hardware acceleration
• Disabling addons
• Clearing cache and data
• Enabling/disabling DRM content
• Installing Windows Media Pack

I'm running Windows 10, and videos seem to work fine in Edge, if that makes any difference.

I am deleting or updating accounts linked to an email that was hacked. However, I cannot make changes to this Firefox account that I no longer use because the email that was hacked no longer exists. I wish to delete the account because of suspicious activity. Thank you for your assistance.

Corel asked me to do a screen shot of the issue: Attached When I look at the changed screen, There is an icon infront of the Web address line that looks like a robot. When I rollover it this statement comes up: Browser is under remote control reason (Dev Tools) All of the address bar is inpink. daThis is still frustrating. I do not like to use the browser when something else appears to be in control. I have MacAFee and run a scan but nothing shows up? If developers are following my browser, I should beable to turn this off.

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? Thanks.

I was getting warnings from my e-mail server that I was near the mailbox size limit, and Thunderbird displayed a percentage bar in the lower right corner. I've deleted a lot of large messages and want to see how far I am from the limit now, but now the bar isn't displayed. Is there a way to refresh this? Or is it a warning that's only pushed from the server?

(Unfortunately, my webmail site doesn't compute the size correctly and shows me at over 400%, so I can't see the actual size there until the server sends me another warning.)

Followed the instructions in the article and cannot send email (SMTP error) "Login to server smtp.office365.com with username xxxxx#outlookcom failed"

Tried a new profile - no change Followed directions for using config editor and deleting two items - no change Could go back to original settings (turn off OATH2) but have to get it working by Sept so might as well slay the beast now.

Hello, I Signed into and began using a New Firefox ACCOUNT Yesterday.Today,I found that I had forgotten that I formerly had a Mozilla account which is apparently still ACTIVE from 10/14/2021. I'm confused as to WHY it's called MOZILLA... Is it called Firefox or Mozilla for this Browser... and I don't want two Accounts... so I need to eliminate one. My iMac is Auto inserting My Password and I'm not familiar yet with whatever Browser I have, to locate a way to see the Password it signed me in on... ? the one I created yesterday... or the one that was created in 2021... So.. please tell me what the Browser is called today... Firefox or Mozilla... or Mozilla Firefox... ??? and I'll begin AGAIN... OR CAN YOU FIX THIS FOR ME WITH JUST ONE ACCOUNT, and I'll create another Password. My email has NOT CHANGED for either account... ey47ey@yahoo.com Please advise me how to establish my Account ASAP so I can continue my work.
