Download Web plugin to access my Security DVR. When I type in the IP of the DVR, firefox will momentarily go to the plugin but then says it needs to be downloaded. HELP

Recently Roboform add-on has not been working with Firefox I have made several efforts to ensure that it works automatically filling in passwords as previously but the add-on does not seem stable, afte reloading it works briefly then stops again. Has anyone had this problem and found a resolution? Thanks

When I logged onto Firefox this morning it asked me to update which I did. When I got onto Firefox all my tabs were gone. Please tell me if I did something to cause this and how to keep this from happening again. I do have it set up to restore tabs when logged off and starting up again. Also please tell me how to get my tabs back! I tried to follow instructions for this but actually didn't have the things they said to click on. Thanks so much for your help!!

I installed Firefox years ago. This morning, when I click on the browser icon, I get this message: Error platform '127.0.2' is not compatible with minVersion>= 127.0.1 maxVersion<= 127.0.1

What is going on? The browser updates itself so I don't do anything. But now, it doesn't work. I use an alternate browser to send this message to you.

How do I disable secure connections for local domains? like http://nas.local or http://nas.home.arpa ?

I have several internal sites, each signed with their own internal CA/subCA. These CAs are all named the same, but have different crypto materials.

If I import just 1 CA into FF (directly or in Windows store with security.enterprise_roots.enabled ), the site with that CA works fine (browser warning is not presented), but ALL those other internal sites give this error:

An error occurred during a connection to 10.1.1.1. Peer’s certificate has an invalid signature. Error code: SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE

with no option to add a security exception.

If I add the CA for another site, that one works as well, the others won't. If I remove all the internal CAs, all the sites start working again (with browser warning, ofc.).

I tried in Chrome and Edge and I get the option to create a security exception for the sites for which I did not install their CA, which looks like the ideal/preferrable option to me.

Is this as intended (and why?) or can it be fixed?

A while back, I had some very bad cataracts. In order to view text more easily, I somehow managed to change black text against a white background to white text against a black background in the pdf reader's settings. A side effect of this change was that color became grayscale. I would now like to return the settings to default. I've lost the article on how I made the changes. How can I get the pdf reader back to it's default settings?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. The settings did not change.

I found that my session activity on a secure (logged-in) website was being interfered with. I could not log-out of that website. After I closed Firefox, a notice appeared that an update was in progress. Why should a Firefox update interfere with an active session? Is this an updating issue that needs fixing?

YouTube has been so slow in Firefox. It just takes a ton of time for the video to actually play. It's just a spinning circle in a video. I can refresh several times and then it plays. I cleared my cache, history, data...etc everything from Firefox. That seemed to help for a bit. Then it just resulted back to being slow. It's just in Firefox. I played videos in Edge. It was fine. No issues. It's just FireFox. It started most recently too. It wasn't happening a week ago. I even tried going back to an old version of Firefox. Didn't help. Anyone know how to fix? Not using ad blockers either FYI. I just want videos to play normally and fast.

basically just the title. In the last couple days youtube.com specifically has been borderline unusable for me on firefox. All other websites work fine for me on firesfox and youtube has no issues on other browsers.

There was an update posted today. I ran the update this morning. Now Firefox will not open.

I think the v127.0.2 fix to the Youtube buffering issue also fixed the frames being navigated in the wrong order when using < and > to navigate frame by frame. For several months it would occasionally skip a frame with one tap of the button then show the frame it should've shown when you tapped it again.

When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

Hello all. Having updated Firefox a few days ago, we can no longer sign into Instagram. This happens only on Firefox, only since the last update, and Firefox is the same browser we have been using for years with Instagram. The problem is the cookie permission window for Instagram a) will not make a selection and b) will not disappear/close. We have attached a screenshot. There are no close tabs/buttons anywhere on this window, and we have looked the full length of the expanded window. As we have not changed any other setting, have not added any software, and this only happens on Firefox, we can only conclude that we have missed something which may have changed or been upgraded with your last update. This is quite urgent, as this is to manage the Instagram account of a wildlife conservation charity. So far we have tried reinstalling Firefox, clearing cookies, and deactivating/uninstalling all add-ons, however this has solved nothing. Could anyone suggest a solution please? how are shortcuts created on my "new tab" home page in firefox browser. I used to be able to create the shortcuts I wanted, not random shortcuts that I might have visited once. Now shortcuts appear that I don't want. I know I can remove them by dismissing them but I should not get them in the first place. Please help.

When im starting my computer, suddenly this program with old firefox logo auto starting on windows taskbar, i cant open(maximize) it....when i hover to that old firefox logo, it just shows random text......

If i'm opening task manager, that program or something is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\AlphaPress under the name update.exe.....i alrd close that program, delete that, and running malwarebytes, but didnt find any threat.....If u can reassure me that it wasnt dangerous malware or anything....maybe some real firefox update?
