Every time I launch Thunderbird I get a request to enter my PW for my Outlook365.com account. Upon entering the correct PW (I verified the PW by loging into my Outlook365 account) I get the responce that the Login Failed.

This issue never ends...

What is happening here? Frankly, I think your app is faulty...although I can get around this nuisance but I'm just about ready to remove Thunderbird permenantely.

Thunderbird (Windows) shows option to sort mail by size, but it is greyed out so unable to sort this way. PFA image.

Can anyone explain how to make this work?

P.S. the purpose is to delete messages occupying the mailbox unnecessarily by going through them in the order of decreasing size. If there is another way to do this, that should also be fine.

Compact folders: caused a saved draft email to disappear. Closing and re-opening Thunderbird resolves this. Suggest the help document https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/compacting-folders-potential-complications be updated to advise this solution (before the user raises an issue). How does this message get to someone who can action this?

How do I reply to an email when i have selected it in the inbox and I can read the email in the preview window? As far as I can tell there is no reply button anywhere. I did double click on the message and suddenly about 30 tabs opened up with each tab having a reply button, which is very nice if I wanted to answer all 30 replies individually. Now I have to open every email to reply and close 20-60 tabs just to reply, which I won't put up with just because of the nuisance bur for sure because of arthritis.

Note: Someone recommended thunderbird to me as very useful but without a reply button in the inbox this is not really a usefull email program. This seems like a minimum common sense basic email function. If you are going to force people to double click on an email in order to reply, it would common sense to only open up that email and not all 30-60 other emails in the string as one will want to reply to the latest email and not to all other emails in the string. If people want to open up all the emails (I can't think that are very many people that want that), make that option a triple click. Right now I have to do an extra click for a reply (compared to any other email software I have ever used) and I have to close 20-60 tabs just to reply to the latest email message, this makes thunderbird a waste of time. I can't imagine I am the only one that considers these two issues basic common sense in email software. Maybe most people just delete thunderbird as I was planning on doing without commenting.

Hi! From some time now i have problem with GUI elements overlapping each other. It started with the window control buttons (that part, where you can close the window). Esthetics aside, it was not that big deal, so I just ignored it, but some time ago similar overlap appeared on address bar - so now I don't see what I'm writing. This is a big deal, now I can't really tell if I made a typo, I'm not able to correct it or I can't see if what I'm writing is mixed with original url, stuff like that.

I'm on Manjaro Linux and Firefox version is 127.0 (64 bits) I've tried to reinstall Firefox with different sources, like Flatpak for example, but the issues persists. Has anyone an idea how to fix this?

I am only able to go back 3 days for my deleted emails, and there are 2 emails from July 5, 6 or 7 I cannot find. How do I find deleted emails and retrieve them? Can someone else remove emails from my inbox?

1. I use thunderbird for three mail accounts with microsoft and need to update my authentication. Your article shows me what to do and I am keen to try. My point of contention is "Administrator approval". I have no Administrator. On my PC I am the administrator. Can you elaborate on what I have to do. I do not have a {tenant-ID}. 2. Firefox has long been my browser of choice on all platforms. I am switching from Windows to Linux and have recently found problems playing some videos on the Linux version of Foxfire. I don’t know if it’s a matter of having the right codec or something else. The videos play with Chromium on Linux and with Firefox on my Android smartphone. Is there anyway to automate and set default 'Format' 'Textstyle 'Superscript for dates eg 1st to 1st, 2nd to 2nd, 3rd to 3rd? Please have a look at the attached image Some Word-processors do this. Many thanks Derek

Hi, non-techie here would appreciate help. Have just had emails from Microsoft saying that after September 16 they will no longer allow third party email systems to access hotmail. Gave instructions to change incoming and outgoing server seettings to 'OAuth2'. I tried. Can change incoming, but then it gives me some kind of error message saying Thunderbird cannot support... Cannot change outgoing at all- the OAuth2 option is simply not there. I am apparently using TBird version 128.0esr and seem to receive regular updates. I am now baffled. Any guidance appreciated, thank you

previously FireFox was able to login Spotify normally, and was able to post comments on Reddit, but suddenly it lost both abilities, and with the extreme lag on other sites, although still functional, i can't understand why these both sites can't be logged into, or can't post any comments in them. it has been this case for the past month. so what's going on? i'm NOT going back to Chromium based browsers ever again! i am in FireFox for a permanent replacement!
