Formatted my phone but playing videos still lags and stutters on Firefox browser on my Samsung. Only happens on Firefox, I've tested on Qwant, Duckduckgo and Brave and this problem doesn't occur. What might be the problem and solution?

It's interesting that sometimes the video plays fine until I unmute it. Sometimes the problem goes away after I stop and play or refresh the page. I often have to play the video on a different browser.

So, videos work fine on other browsers so I discart being a phone problem. But on my other phone this problem doesn't happen with firefox.

I've been for several months looking for help/answer/fix for this issue. And I've been with firefox for ever and I don't mind minor bugs and problems but this is starting to be a bit annoying and more and more I feel like I need to move on to a new browser.

i have made a major mistake trying to manage my bookmarks i need to delete all bookmarks and restore previous settings but every time i try to delete files or restore previous book marks firefox freezes. i have manged to copy bookmarks menu into other bookmarks and then copy other book marks back into bookmarks menu multiple times. have probably set a record for most book marks as i had over 1.3 million. i have managed to delete a lot of folder but i cant do anything with the ones i left without freezing

For several months, Firefox has been unable to play videos from various different websites, including Netflix, Paramount Plus, Youtube, and others. I've turn off VPNS, reset my internet router countless times, cleared cache/cookies, flushed DNS, updated firefox, updated my video drivers, updated windows, disabled extensions (including adblock), opened Firefox in safemode, and reset hardware acceleration. This is not an issue on chrome or edge. Some of the error messages include: Netflix F7351, Paramount Plus 5000, and error code 102630. Youtube mostly doesn't work on livestreams, and says that my browser isn't compatible.

I have a Samsung A14.....using an Android 14 operating system. I have Dark mode on at all times on my phone, however when I go online to any sites, it defaults to white screen. I have tried the settings on the phone and in the Firefox settings but it still shows up in white screen. On my old phone, I can get all websites in dark mode so I know it is possible, can anyone help me?? Thanks

I have Windows 11, Firefox yahoo email. I must have clicked somewhere that consolidated all my email to the left in a narrow format. Can't locate where to correct it. Also had no luck attaching a screen shot. Next to the condensed email, is another column that is blank except for the white envelope. Is there a place where I can change the format? Thank you.

I want to change "browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once" preference to true. So I do it in about:config page and if I reaccess this page in another tab within the session, then my value is being kept.

However, when I restart Firefox (thru "Exit" in "File" menu), all previous pages get restored and that preference is "false" again in the config after a new browser start.

I also made a user.js file with the following content: // user_pref("browser.startup.couldRestoreSession.count", 0); user_pref("browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once",true);

Nothing helps.

Please let me know how I can modify the config file.

I can't stay on this site for very long at all, and do my best to write out what I need as quickly as possible then leave. I would never contribute to answering any questions other then my own because how bright it is will eventually cause me pain.

After masking them with my duck duck go service, I can't find the link to verify my emails. Where can I see any return responses using my mask email?

I can edit my short cuts. One I have added the Name, and the URl, I also have the option to add a custom picture to the square icon for the shortcut. It seems obvious to want, as I do, to "drag and drop" a photo of my choice from my personal collection. For example, when there are multiple shortcuts for the email of each person in the family, their individual photo is a great identifier. As things are now it seems I can only add another URL. I tried to add the URL from a family members Facebook page but it would not accept the link. Can some techno whizzz out there not make "drag and drop" an option? It would be REALLY useful for us all to have the photo of our choice, either a family person where appropriate, or a pet or whatever, or a friend. Thanks. How can I resolve issues with video streams from Facebook Workplace?

This issue doesn't happen in Chrome. When I stream video in Facebook Workplace, the video stops frequently and becomes poor quality at times. I have recommended performance settings enabled, using hardware acceleration.

Hey all, Before I go to far, here... Firefox version 127.0.2 (64-bit) Windows 10 Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045 Extensions - Malwarebytes browser guard.

What I've done: Cleared cache, history, etc. etc. ran multiple system scans restart app restart windows

So how do I keep Firefox from opening pop-up for about:config? That's right, There are pop ups that firefox allow to open new tabs, and its the about:config page.

Also, every time I start typing out google in the address bar auto suggest fills in googleleadservices or something like that. I already went through all the same steps above and more. I originally thought it was just opening one of the last pages I went to, but if I've "cleared" everything as per the way firefox has it set up, why would it have any history of what the last page was?

David, here are two screen shots (ss) to clarify my issue with email and a third regarding another issue (see below).

Number one ss shows what I see when I go to Thunderbird. I am allowed to delete if I wish by first marking the email and then clicking delete. If, however, I wish to view the message, Number two ss appears. I cannot delete the message without going back to Number one ss as that option has now disappeared. This was no problem on my old computer.

The other issue is related to the above. I have over 250 emails without being able to access them (see Number three ss). On the left upper side is the number of emails I have, but only six old emails appear, something that is confirmed in the upper right frame. No matter what I do, I cannot access them.

Another one: I cannot select the country code from the drop down list when entering phone number in Ryanair, so basically I can't buy flight tickets from there. Chromium Browser didn't work as well, but Safari did.
