1. Open the Firefox for Android application 2. Either browse around first, download something beforehand, or do it right at the start, go to the 'three dot' menu on the top right screen and select the 'Downloads' section. 3. The application will freeze without opening the section and after a while will say 'Firefox not responding' before crashing.

Firefox is very dear to me. I use it on my computer all the time for how much more relatively secure it is from other browsers. But Android version is a hellish nightmare. When I open the app, even with no previous tabs on, it will not be responsive for more than 30-45 seconds for seemingly no reason. Same thing when I kill the app and start it again. If it does have open tabs, it will either not be able to fetch their sum number to be displayed on the top right corner until that aforementioned timespan passes, and/or I wont be able to remove/add tabs until again that period of time passes! This is a blocking issue that's been there for well over a year and a half, if not longer!

I have a Samsung A14.....using an Android 14 operating system. I have Dark mode on at all times on my phone, however when I go online to any sites, it defaults to white screen. I have tried the settings on the phone and in the Firefox settings but it still shows up in white screen. On my old phone, I can get all websites in dark mode so I know it is possible, can anyone help me?? Thanks

Everytime I try to open MediaFire it's just a blank page, I've refreshed the page repeatedly but it didn't work, I also tried with other links, but it also didn't work, I kept seeing the blank page over and over again.

Recently, within the last 3 weeks or so, I have become unable to log in to amazon.com using Firefox Focus for Android. This is a new development. I can still browse Amazon pages while logged out, and hitting the button to log in still brings me to the page to enter phone number or email address. However, entering email address/phone and then pressing the Sign In button redirects the user to a page saying that cookies must be enabled in order to log in.

Again, this is very recent. I previously did all my Amazon shopping within Firefox Focus for Android without issues.

1) Reporting this change. 2) Is there any extension for Firefox that makes a browser believe it can store cookies? I doubt it, but had to ask. Thanks.

When looking support for a different issue with Firefox Focus for Android, attempted to log in to make a support request. Unable to log in to Mozilla Support while using... Firefox Focus for Android. Get endless spinny-wheel. Could not log in without switching to Firefox for Android.

I access Outlook through Firefox. I added the site to my home screen to login faster. After proceeding through the login screen and accessing my email, I have a blank permanent bar on the top of my screen (where the website controls exist when the quick app starts up). My screen is shifted down from this bar, with elements no longer appearing at the bottom of my screen (calendar, etc). Buttons on the bottom of the screen no longer appear (they are cut off). I want my screen to not be cut off on the bottom. As an aside, the bar on the top of the screen is annoyingly thick whether it's loaded or not.

I can't switch between my work Gmail and my personal Gmail account. My phone simply shows a continual "getting messages____" thing. Could this be because I'm not using chrome?

When I put a video or an image gallery to full screen, the navigation buttons, clock, and status bar don't hide.

They often appear as though they're going to hide, for a split second, but frustratingly bounce right back into view.

On rare occasions, it seems to be random chance, the status bar, clock, and navigation buttons do hide, but I don't know how to get them to hide every time.

I've already tried disabling picture in picture for the app but that has not helped.

What are the reasons the buttons and clock would not hide in full screen? How would we go about fixing things?

I am experiencing a problem where when I exit the Firefox for Android app with a tab open, and then reopen the same tab later, the tab search bar becomes unresponsive. I can type in a new search query or new website URL but upon pressing search, it loads indefinitely. The issue is seems specific to that tab as it doesn't persist if I open a new tab and put in the same contents into the searchbar - this works fine. This doesn't happen every time I close the app and then want to make a search from an existing tab, but it happens fairly regularly.

It's a pretty small issue as far as bugs go, but it is annoying from time to time and I would love if there was a fix :-)

I recently updated to a new version of the Firefox Android app through the Play Store, and it changed the look of the lab list so that tabs were larger. However, it also seems to have changed the tolerance for my swiping to scroll through the list. Now, when I swipe to scroll up with my right thumb, it often closes the tab under my thumb rather than scrolling. This seems to be because my swipe is at an angle due to the way I am holding my phone, but before the update I never had this problem. It would be nice if the tolerance was adjusted back to the way it was or if I could disable the swipe to delete tab feature.
