I am a lawyer in New York. I file with NYSCEF which is the electronic court filing portal. As of yesterday my PDF files would not show up on the portal as a complete document. I never had this problem before. Many documents were missing pages or parts of pages when I tried to access them. I then used Chrome and all the documents loaded properly. In addition the print function with a Brother MFC L2700DW printer will not work and an error notification appears on my computer screen. The print function with my Brother MFC 9340 CDW works fine. The NYSCEF documents all load properly with Chrome and the printers work with Chrome. How do I get back to the prior version of Firefox? Or how can this issue be resolved. I like the feel of Firefox better than Chrome but will have to discontinue using Firefox if the issues cannot be resolved. Tom Curtis

When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

When I open my youTube home in Firefox browser is completely blank nothind is showing I don't have this problem in other browser. I have tried in the settings to turn the history on and off but nothing has changed.

I'm totally desperate: all the bookmarks (which I deleted about 5 years ago) have been restored since I started to use my old laptop again, which I hadn't used in years - what can I do? I'm talking about hundreds of bookmarks which would take me days to check and delete - this was already an issue years ago but didn't occur for quite some time, but today it has reappeared. Please help to fix this right now, and also for this issue to not occur again - there has to be an option to define one computer as the main one with which all other secondary computers should be synced, and not the other way around...?

When I use ALT codes ALT0237 and ALT0243 to create Spanish characters on Firefox, I get kicked out of the page I was on to another page. I have had this problem for a few days.

Webpages don't open on Firefox and a link is clicked (for example, a link in an email). This problem does not happen when using another browser. I followed the advice given to someone who had the same problem. Switching to "No proxy" as suggested did not correct the problem. At first, youtube had a glitch while I was watching a video, all the suggestions were from the same account on the right, and the rest of the screen was greyed out. Then it came back but the video played with a lot of skipping (I have 1gbps FTTH fibre, so that should not happen) and then it started to eat up a whole lot of memory with one firefox process being at 3gb of ram. I closed Firefox in Task Manager and then after waiting a bit for the system to stabilize, when it finally did, I restarted Firefox and it now was in French (Canadian), I am Canadian so I guess me adding the language to firefox for when I am typing in french is why it was there, but my default language was US English. The Restore session window was in French (CA) and I had to change it in the options.

Don't know what happened here exactly, but I thought I should report it, since I have telemetry turned off. It's working fine again, so maybe I could just blame windows, when I boot in Ubuntu 22.04 there's never a hiccup.

This is not good at all. I am now thinking of rejecting Fierfoy and moving to Opera or similar. Why did Morzilla take this fatal step?

Outlook.office.com not refreshing automatically anymore and requires browser refresh to show new e-mails, etc... Works in Edge and Chrome just fine. Had this issue years ago and issue self-resolved, so unsure what resolution was then.

I am getting the following error after updating my Firefox installation: XULRunner This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile.

I have tried creating a new profile and deleting the old ones, restarting Firefox, and even uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it. The error still persists.

How can I get the error to quit popping up every time I open Firefox?

Since the last update (was executed today in my case 16-07-2024), firefox has been very slow and freezing and crashing. Also, somehow it is the only browser that can't handle yahoo finance new charts and keeps freezing....so many issues in a short span of time, please check. I have tried other browsers and things seem to work fine there, so, it is not my computer or OS.
