After updating the Mozilla browser, two sites related to watching TV movies stopped opening - Apple TV and Canal +. The Apple TV site does not respond at all, Canal + shows an error. Clearing cookies doesn't help. Another browser, Chrome, opens pages normally.

When I am using Google sheets in Firefox, I've noticed lately that using the mouse scroll wheel causes the sheet to scroll all the way down right to the very bottom of the sheet, rather than slowly one or two lines at a time. This has started happening recently, and it doesn't happen under Chrome or Edge. What is going on?

The Firefox Linux Systems inappropriately stops to play online videos, the social media videos or display pictures. The system is not manageable by administrators at the public library and is only helped sometimes by government officials. Is there anyway the Library system could be helped to play videos.

I noticed today that there's a small blue cube appears at the tip of the mousecursor inside a firefox window , I guess it's some keyboard shortcut I accidentally activated but can't find any info on where to disable

Even if you change the setting of Firefox about:config from "true" to "false", it will automatically change from "false" to "true".

privacy.userContext.enabled 

If you change "privacy.userContext.enabled" from "true to false" and check after restarting Firefox, it will revert to "false to true." It is unclear why it reverts to the original state.

Kroger web site will not open with fire fox but will open with google chrome. It is my survey site http: not https. I have this setting under privacy and settings. I have had this CPU for 8 months. I have had issues from day 1 with the stock Fedora install of Firefox where text is missing and some green and/or pink boxes appear where the text boxes should be. This has happened with all versions up to 129.0.

This has only been happening with Firefox. Vscodium, (chrome based) Brave and every other Wayland application including foot and freecad render correctly. it is only firefox and only firefox with this GPU. If I run Firefox under qemu without eGL then the rendering is good. If I run it under qemu and enable the virtioGL driver I get the same issue.

I attach a sample of a screen shot that shows that was captured from the frame buffer. In the bottom left corner, you can see quite a few characters missing.

Hello, My saved passwords do not work on certain sites on my Windows 11 computer and my Android smartphone. I have repaired firefox,and created a new profile as advised by members of the French forum.i have also created a new account. On the computer only, I no longer have the subtitles on the skillshare site. When I go to pinterest and deezer, the page does not display normally. I can't see the images in the duckduckgo search either, because I've been redirected to a non-javascript site. I had ccleaner, it was suggested to me that the problem came from there but I uninstalled it before creating the new profile. I also have bit defender free on my devices. Thank you.

When trying to sign into a sweepstakes like HGTV Sweepstakes, the website will not show the "Fill-in the Blank" area to insert my email address. This happens in all the sweepstakes that I try to enter. If I use Microsoft Edge, the Fill-In Blank is there, but not when I use Firefox. It will work on my laptop in Firefox, but not on my desktop.

I just started getting this error:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.newsmax.com.

I cannot find how to make this stop. I will get emails from Newsmax about articles and if there is something I want to read I click on the link in the email. I never had a problem with Firefox not opening the link. This just started and I can not get the link to open. I have Newsmax set up as a home setting. However, after I got the Secure Connection Failed error, I could not open the Newsmax web page even if I typed in www.newsmax.com. I am about to uninstall Firefox and use another browser. Can you please tell me how to fix this?

I'm trying to set up Firefox on a new Windows 11 laptop and having issues.

First, I installed a couple of Add-ons and set them up, I use one to have a Home Page, and another for zoom percentage. And I went into each one and set them up as I want them. But when I closed FF and reopened it, they were gone, as if I didn't install them at all. And all the changes I made to the top part of the browser - icons and overall look - reverted back to what FF is "out of the box."

Also, on my old laptop, I went into about:config and changed the ui.textScaleFactor because the default FF top part is too wide for me. But when I went into it on the new laptop, and changed the number, nothing happened. On the old one, when you enter a different number and hit enter, the change is made immediately.

Also, I did make FF my default browser on the new laptop, at least I think I did. I clicked the link to do that, and it brought me to a window with a bunch of confusing extensions. I changed them all to Firefox, including E-Mail, and I don't even want FF being the default for E-mail. And I did click the check on top and clicked "Make FF the default browser." But when I open FF, I keep getting asked if I want to make FF my default browser and to pin it to the task bar. But it already is!

I should point out, that it's possible I downloaded FF twice, and may have installed it twice. But when I go to Install/uninstall files, just one is listed. And I only have one FF icon on my desktop.

So what is going on?

Today I was forced to reinstall my PC (nothing worked, a lot of problems etc). I was told that I don't need to use any backup for Mozilla (even if I wanted, my PC problems would not allow me to do that) because yesterday I've made a sync. After couple of hours of reinstalling the system I wanted to sync my account to get back my Bookmarks and turns out that sync does not restore them. I have all my plugins and that's all, none of the bookmarks. I've lost literally years of saved data.

Yesterday, I noticed after I closed and re-opened Firefox, my browsing session was completely gone - all my tabs and windows, my entire browsing history, website sign-in status, all completely gone. I've been troubleshooting since then.

I've noticed that the 'sessionstore-backups' folder in my profile folder is missing. When I open Firefox, this folder is created and Firefox writes some data to it, but Firefox seems to delete the folder as soon as I quit Firefox. Firefox should not be doing this. My Firefox is configured to open previous windows and tabs, and is NOT configured to wipe any browsing data of any kind when it closes.

As a sanity check, I spun up a Windows Sandbox (briefly, it's a clean, isolated Windows environment) and installed Firefox there. I also enabled the option 'Open previous windows and tabs'. Firefox behaves normally - it re-opens the tabs/windows I had open when I quit Firefox. Great, that's what I expect. The trouble starts as soon as I sign in to sync. After signing in to sync, and letting the initial sync process complete, I open a couple of windows and tabs, then quit Firefox. Firefox begins nuking my browsing session again - the 'sessionstore-backups' folder is erased, and next time I start Firefox, all my windows and tabs are missing, and my browsing history is missing.

So, at this point, I'm assuming something in my synced data has become corrupt. I haven't installed any new extensions lately. I haven't changed any of Firefox's settings that would cause this to happen. The only thing I have done differently lately was enable Firefox Sync in LibreWolf and sign in to sync there. It seems like this session-nuking trouble started after I signed in to sync in LibreWolf. I assumed, since LibreWolf is a fork of Firefox, and because there were no warnings or indications the feature was incomplete/unstable/experimental/etc., that it would just work, that it wouldn't cause any issues. But it seems like it has caused issues. I checked LibreWolf's issues tracker for anything related to 'sync', but I didn't see anything noteworthy.

I've been using Firefox and Sync for numerous years without issue. This session-nuking thing started yesterday.

I use Firefox in a few places, and based on what I saw happen in my Windows Sandbox, this session-nuking issue is going to happen in every Firefox I'm signed in to as soon as it has a chance to sync. Obviously, I do not want this to happen.

What can I do to determine what the issue is? What can I do to check if something in my synced data has become corrupted? What can I do to reverse it? I'm not opposed to completely wiping/resetting my synced data, but I'd rather not if I don't have to. The only thing I would lose sleep over is my bookmarks, but I know I can export them. Are there any debug logs I can enable/look at? Anything I should look for in Event Viewer?

Hello. How can I post HTML code snippets in support.mozilla.org questions ? All HTML code is rendered and none of the usual markdown (``` etc.) works.

At first I thought it was Facebooks issue but when I shared using Edge or Opera browser the share dialog DOES have a share button at the bottom of the share pop up dialog. Using Firefox, for what ever reason, it's cut off at the bottom so I have no way to share and have to copy the link and walk it over to Facebook or wherever to share anything. See the images below...
