i received a secure connection failed message when trying to load one of my favorite sites You say to contact the site about the message, but there is no way to bypass the message to contact them This logic defies all description I share no personal info with this site, its just reading material How can I get to this site?

I've got Sync on a laptop and phone. My phone will see all the current tabs on my desktop, but the desktop is out of date by about a week no matter how many times I hit Sync Now.

I have signed out and signed in again on my laptop but this did nothing. I saved a new bookmark on my desktop to force a sync, nothing. I did the same on my phone, nothing. Short of signing out on my phone and possibly risk the one that DOES actually Sync, what else can I do?

My phone is an Android, my laptop is using Windows 11. My laptop has not reset recently.

I have a new desktop. I checked the box in Settings to "Always ask you where to save files." However, it's still dumping files in Downloads without asking.

Why, and how do we correct that?

here is the run down of this problem and how to fix it over and over and over its not really fix its a work around...

first things first Version 129.0.2 64bit problem is on both linux and windows 10/11 problem is the same on both having addons installed does not seems to matter as it seems this a problem with firefox it self and devs have bin ignoring it for a long time it seems

so what happens open a page open in new tab or just following a link (google or other search engine etc) page loads fully select text and right click to open context menu copy is greyed out and does not work work around switch tab and just switch back right click to open context menu copy it not greyed out anymore and can now be used

this happens at 100% rate works around always works but that is not a fix to this problem

Note's

ctrl+c works but context menu copy still show's greyed out

problems seems to happen even on a clean install of firefox windows or linux

and to test it even more i just reinstalled windows and arch linux on my laptop (it need a good clean up) so there was not last over date in appdata or program data on windows and the same on linux nothing was save there was no account logged in to sync data/settings

just to check if im not going insane here i installed chorme load the same page's copy on context menu always works

I have the Dutch and English dictionary installed and both show up in the context menu. But at random, only the Dutch dictionary is checked and the English one not. The Spellchecker then only uses the Dutch and I have to manually enable English again. This is really at random. For example on YouTube: I write a comment and English is checked. But another time on YouTube, English suddenly is not checked and have to enable it again in the context menu. So not a huge deal but still remarkable.

About two or three times a month the PC randomly freezes completely if a video is running in the actual Firefox browser (regardless of the site, regardless of whether it is in the active tab or in the background). First the image freezes, after about 10 seconds the sound freezes. Only a hard reset helps. The problem is observed both in actual Windows 11 and in Manjaro Linux. In games, rendering, stress tests and other PC works stably, does not freeze. How to solve this problem?

I have the "Always ask you where to save files" check box checked in settings, but it still just automatically saves everything to my downloads folder and I keep having to then cut and paste the file where I want it. I also have "Ask whether to open or save files" checked. Any idea how to fix this, so it will ask me where to save downloads?

Having hundreds of opened tabs across many windows and 3 separate desktops , I can not find tab that suddenly become active. Particular Icon of active desktop icon and active window icon and list of tabs specific icon should be flashing to make easy to find transmitting/active Icon/tab in ‘Firefox’.

Hi, Could you add a simple feature for autoscrolling pdf files in the built-in viewer ? It would be a great help when playing sheet music, etc.

Just: start/stop (with hotkeys) and scroll speed setting. It exists for chrome: Tab Scroller - Guitar Tab Auto Scroll, but I would prefer to use firefox of course.

 An update or two (maybe more?) ago, the plus sign with which we add shortcuts to the Firefox browser home page/new tab page disappeared, so now we can no longer add shortcuts on the home page/new tab page.  Please help.  I am running Firefox Version 129.0.2 (64-bit) on a Windows 11 Pro 64-bit if that makes any difference.  Thanks.

Hi I have a problem opening some pages with new certs. When I try to open them I get this message SEC_ERROR_CERT_NOT_IN_NAME_SPACE In LibreWolf v.115.0.2-2 it works, asks for cert approval and opens without a problem.
