This relates to question #1438542 Purple Folders https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1438542 which has been archived. The OP had folders whose icons had changed color to purple - the same as Drafts. The solution was to download the add-on folderflags, drag the .xpi file onto the add-ons manager, confirm the install, then on each folder, right-click and select Properties, then use the new Flags tab to switch off the Draft flag.

There are two things that I'd like to add to that solution:

1. After changing the flags, I had to restart TB for the folder icon colors to go back to their normal yellow. Note that one of my affected folders had also moved immediately after Local Folders / Drafts folder. After switching off the flag and restarting TB, that folder also went back to its normal alphabetical order position.
2. The OP didn't know what was causing the folders to be marked as Draft. I can reproduce the problem by these steps:

• Start a new message, type some text.
• In the menu bar, select Options > Send a copy to > select a folder
• Save the message - this immediately adds the Draft flag in the selected folder.

emails have stopped downloading onto my computer but I can still send them. They are still downloading on my iPad. It happened overnight I have a Mac computer with Safari

Firefox I have been using for years on my pc, and all has been fine, until a couple of days ago i tried to uploads a thumbnail to youtube and it just hangs, it works on other browsers, also uploading a video, again no progress at all it just hangs at 0% uploaded. Ive tried everything and no change, ive changed nothing, one day it worked and then it stopped. I upload videos everyday so this needs to be working for me, or I need a new browser asap as this is my business. I cannot find anything about this error online. v 129.02 (64 bit). Please advise.

i dont know why and i have try everything i found in here to find a solution but zero . for a reason my thunderbird mail when i open it for first time to use it and it receive new mails is not show them in black color as unreaded but if i keep use it for a few moments and some new mail come in after a while it show them as it must with black color witch stand for unreaded mails. i am one step to uninstall that program and i love it so much for many many years now but i cant work like that any more btw that problem is not done to any other mail program that i try only in thunderbird and i use the version 115.14.0 (32-bit), here a pic of mail that show you what was before that problem

Thunderbird has started to get a message that an error stopped the application from sending emails. It started a while ago, than it went away no is doing it all the time. It receives message OK, but it is not allowed to send. Sending fro Telstra website or from my I-Phone 8 is no problem, only from my PC. I include the error message, I hope you can advise me. I am on Windows 11. I use a Vodafone network. Most of the time I anable to access the internet. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. I do not use a proxy. I am totally frustrated. When I go to settings/networks it tells me that all is OK and I am connected.

My send button has disappeared. I think it was after I removed a menu including "encrypt" by accident. I have tried following some of the suggestions on earlier posts, but when I go to "customize" there is still no send button. How can I restore it?

For many months now I have had a problem with one of my mailboxes. When I open that mailbox, I will get additional copies of emails that have already been downloaded in the previous several days. When I opened this mailbox this morning, new emails were very slow to load. When eventually the new emails started to arrive, again there were copies of previously received emails coming in also. As of now, I have single copies of emails that are dated today (02 Sept), 01 Sept, 31 Aug, 30 Aug, 29 Aug, and some from 28 Aug. However, also on 28 Aug, I have 5 copies of numerous emails. Emails dated 27 Aug, I also have 5 copies. Emails dated Aug 26, I have 3 copies. Emails dated 25 Aug, I have 3 copies. This pattern of 3 copies of emails continues back to Aug 17. For Aug 16 and Aug 15, I have only single copies of emails. On Aug 14, I have two copies of each email. I have tried turning off my anti virus software (TotalAV) and I have tried excluding the Thunderbird\Profiles folder. I still have the same problem. The other mailbox that I have, does not have the same multiple copies problem. It occurs to me that there is one difference between these two mailboxes. The one that does not have the problem, opens automatically because I have saved the login password. The mailbox that has the problem, I have not saved the password and need to enter the password each time. Could this difference in logging in be causing the problem? I would like to know how to stop the Google pop-ups that ask me if I want to go in app or stay on the browser every 10 minutes. I am using iOS. Google is my browser. Firefox is my engine.

I had all files downloaded from my old PC to an external harddrive and uploaded to a new PC. My Thunderbird account does not appear on the new one. How do I correct this?

All message filers stopped working. I sent mail with a filter trigger and it failed to stop it nor list any filter logs.Was working fine up til 2 weeks ago. Any ideas? Filter logs are turned on.

I cannot see any mail in my inbox even tho it says there are over 300. When a message comes in, it disappears after a few minutes.

I have searched the forum and have not seen my issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Trouble getting and sending email since updating security keys. My pop3 server names are inbound.att.net and outbound.att.net but when I look at my saves passwords it shows mailbox://inbound.att.net, Username ,password….When I attempt login and use pw manager pass word it appears to accept but responds with[SYS/TEMP] server error. Try later.

I tried to do an import of a backup profile that was very large, greater than 3 GB. System says this file is too big to recover. Error console is as follows:

I recently upgraded my computer and re-installed Thunderbird with my several e-mail accounts. Somewhere, while setting up my various accounts, I used a comma (,) instead of a dot (.) in the account name; i.e. cxxx,xx@comcast.net instead of cxxx.xx@comcast.net. Now, when I try to send a message from that account I get the error message shown below. Receiving messages is not affected. My equipment is a Dell Optiplex 7010, 13th generation i7 CPU (x64), 16 Gb RAM, Windows 11 Pro, Thunderbird 128.1.1esr (64-bit). I cannot find a location or means to correct the comma vs. dot error anywhere in my Comcast account or in Thunderbird. What do you suggest? Thanks... Jim <jmcarp43@gmail.com>

We travel to FL for winter months and occasionally North for summer. In the past we have had no problem moving our profile between the two systems. This spring when we returned from FL, when the Profile was put on the DT at home, we saw major differences. We had always dealt with POP systems so we stored all email on a local system. We, my wife and I, have 5 different email addresses, all of which WERE on the same inbox. After this spring move to DT, all 5 had different accounts and inboxes. After this, our old inbox was stored in Local Folders. This we could live with. BUT

The remainder of our local folders were incomplete. We had about 1/3 of what was on the Laptop available on the Desktop. There was an unused Profile that had all of the Local Folder folders in it. It had taken me about of month to explore the difference, we had other things to do including an emergency trip back to FL to determine whether our condo was flooded with sewage as our next door neighbors was. It wasn't!!

So, I have tried a simple copy and paste to move the many missing Local Folders, both mozmsgs and sbd, to no avail. Is it possible to update my current Profile with the older info. It appears both DT and LT are the same version of Thunderbird. If so - please help this old computer hobbyist. I started in 78 with an IMSAI and CP/M writing printer drivers in assembly. Since then, a lot has happened and I'm no longer "up to date".

Somehow handwriting stopped working with Firefox on my Surface 9... I don't know what is the issue, because with Edge and Chrome it still functions. Only Firefox I have to use the keyboard again, which is very annoying...

For some reason, for like, 19 out of 20 times I try, I cannot google search anything on the Android firefox app. I type in the query. I hit search. It loads for a long time. And I am met with "server error".

No other apps seem to have trouble connecting. No other websites on the same browser and phone has these problems. I can kind if get by as long as I know the url. But as soon as I try to find anything where I don't know the url. I get the same Server Error. It's been going on for weeks. I've disabled all extensions and uninstalled them. I've been on multiple networks both at home and work and mobile networks. I have reinstalled firefox. I have tonight even cleared both cache and data. Other devices on the same network and browser can google just fine. Nothing I can think of has made a difference.

Anyone hasany ideas I can try out? I am certain some kind of user error is involved. It usually is. But I am at a loss of what it could be.

On the https://www.reddit.com/login/ website, I have multiple saved passwords. None of them work. Firefox lists them as it should, but when I click on them, it is not autofilled into the input fields. Even on old.reddit.com this happens. Please fix.
