Swiss-made audiophile gear is all the rage these days, especially in the world of electronics. However, speakers from Switzerland are equally as sought after as amps, preamps and digital components. These days, Stenheim is at the top of the list of Swiss-made loudspeakers that appeal to the uber-audiophile crowd, and for good reason.

I have disabled sponsored shortcuts in Firefox settings, and did this when I first set up my browser.

Today when launching my browser the first link in my shortcuts was to @Google which I specifically do not use. I do not use google search. I do not want google search. I do not want cookies or content from google.

Why was this sponsored shortcut pushed to my browser after I disabled sponsored shortcuts?

i dont know why and i have try everything i found in here to find a solution but zero . for a reason my thunderbird mail when i open it for first time to use it and it receive new mails is not show them in black color as unreaded but if i keep use it for a few moments and some new mail come in after a while it show them as it must with black color witch stand for unreaded mails. i am one step to uninstall that program and i love it so much for many many years now but i cant work like that any more btw that problem is not done to any other mail program that i try only in thunderbird and i use the version 115.14.0 (32-bit), here a pic of mail that show you what was before that problem

All old e-mails in inbox was missed from outlook, win mail and yahoo mail sever, It happens when I open Thunderbird post client. Firs I can see all emails, but next it was disappeared. I worried about thunderbird interment my yahoo account in yahoo server and cleaned all my old emails in inbox there. Possible, I click "yes" some question in Thunderbird mail client during receiving e-mails, when I must not to do. Could you please help me on recovering my old emails in yahoo server or Thunderbird server and solve the problem. Sorry for my English. Ali Nabiyev

Thunderbird has started to get a message that an error stopped the application from sending emails. It started a while ago, than it went away no is doing it all the time. It receives message OK, but it is not allowed to send. Sending fro Telstra website or from my I-Phone 8 is no problem, only from my PC. I include the error message, I hope you can advise me. I use Thunderbird on Windows (now 11) for 16 years now. Currently I have Thunderbird version 128.1.1. I would like to share profile between Windows and Linux (Ubuntu 24.04) installations on same machine. Profile folder is in a ntfs partition accessible both from Ubuntu (automatically mounted) and Windows. I managed to edit profile.ini file to point to right profile folder. On Windows evenrything workes fine. When I try to open Thunderbird in Ubuntu I get empty folder list and no account information in configuration. In the profile folder there ale many files created with names ending with corrupted are created (like folderTree.json.XXX.corrupt). Another try to open Thunderbird ends with message that profile is already in use. Any advice? Maybe I should debug starting Thunderbird (if yes let me know how to do that).

I am on Windows 11. I use a Vodafone network. Most of the time I anable to access the internet. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. I do not use a proxy. I am totally frustrated. When I go to settings/networks it tells me that all is OK and I am connected.

My send button has disappeared. I think it was after I removed a menu including "encrypt" by accident. I have tried following some of the suggestions on earlier posts, but when I go to "customize" there is still no send button. How can I restore it?

i have two computers. on computer 1, all is fine. on computer 2, when it restarted after an update, i got the error message -- "the bookmarks and history system will not be functional b/c one of firefox's files is in use by another application, some security software can cause this problem." this has NEVER happened before.

i found the "how to fix this problem" page, but i am completely baffled by it. what i want to know is what security software (i have avast apps) is likely to have caused this problem, and how do i fix it (i.e., what setting should i change?).

thanks for any help you can provide. i am NOT tech-savvy, this is the only time this has happened, and i've had both computers for years. they have both always had the same apps.

On two occasions all of the favicons for my Bookmarks have disappeared. The only way I have been able to restore them is to open each bookmark using "Open All in Tabs" for each Bookmark folder. As I have many hundreds of Bookmarks, this is an extremely time consuming process. I have done this twice. I have just encountered a third instance of this problem and would like to avoid doing it again if there is any other way to restore the favicons.

I had saved the favicons.sqlite files from the Profile, but I am unaware of any way to restore the favicons directly from this file. The favicons.sqlite file appears to be of the proper size, i.e. ~17KB. On the last occasion, following a suggested solution, I rebuilt the iconcache hoping it would also rebuild the favicons, but that was not the case. As a result, I used the above process.

Any solutions to restore the Bookmark favicons without opening all with "Open All in Tabs" would be greatly apprecuated. I don't know what has caused the favicons to disappear. I am running Firefox 129.0.2 on a Windows 11 Pro PC.

For many months now I have had a problem with one of my mailboxes. When I open that mailbox, I will get additional copies of emails that have already been downloaded in the previous several days. When I opened this mailbox this morning, new emails were very slow to load. When eventually the new emails started to arrive, again there were copies of previously received emails coming in also. As of now, I have single copies of emails that are dated today (02 Sept), 01 Sept, 31 Aug, 30 Aug, 29 Aug, and some from 28 Aug. However, also on 28 Aug, I have 5 copies of numerous emails. Emails dated 27 Aug, I also have 5 copies. Emails dated Aug 26, I have 3 copies. Emails dated 25 Aug, I have 3 copies. This pattern of 3 copies of emails continues back to Aug 17. For Aug 16 and Aug 15, I have only single copies of emails. On Aug 14, I have two copies of each email. I have tried turning off my anti virus software (TotalAV) and I have tried excluding the Thunderbird\Profiles folder. I still have the same problem. The other mailbox that I have, does not have the same multiple copies problem. It occurs to me that there is one difference between these two mailboxes. The one that does not have the problem, opens automatically because I have saved the login password. The mailbox that has the problem, I have not saved the password and need to enter the password each time. Could this difference in logging in be causing the problem? Anyway, I hope someone can help me resolve this problem. Please reply to: nikkay@internode.on.net

Frequently, I notice on Youtube the UI just freezes entirely for ~1-5 seconds, usually periodically. I've measured it most recently around every 10 seconds or so (manual stopwatch in another tab, so a little faster or slower possible).

When in this state, I can often notice it frequently: on hovering over buttons the UI does not highlight them, the video controls will not appear, or the page will not fill the screen on resize, can't click into search, etc. Basically just full page freeze except for media playback.

It's disappeared and come back a few times, but tends to be more often there than not. This occurs on every page of Youtube. I've tried disabling basically all my extensions and refreshing the page without any change.

I would like to know how to stop the Google pop-ups that ask me if I want to go in app or stay on the browser every 10 minutes. I am using iOS. Google is my browser. Firefox is my engine.
