Just attempted to install latest Firefox update and now NEITHER program can be accessed...ERROR...Platform version 129.0.2 is not compatable with minversion>=129.0.1 maxVersion<129.0.1 NOW, I CANNOT OPEN FIREFOX AT ALL and have no access to the bookmarks, anything having to do with FIREFOX Windows 10

Please help ! TIA

I used to have a home icon to return to firefox home page; it has disappeared.Any help getting it back would be greatly appreciated.I think I might have gotten it back thru the extension app but don't remember the process. Thanks

I have tried to download the latest update (v129.0.2). The download stops at about 98kb. This happened on the last update (v129.0.1) as well and it took me countless attempts to get it to work.

I know there are work-arounds but why should I have to **** around with my machine just to get an update?

Firefox has been an excellent browser but something has happened. I tried to access the help and, after several minutes of a blank page, I got the attached. Other legitimate pages are not loading. Sorely tempted to revert to Safari but i have donated this year and still prefer Firefox.

So today I was using firefox for work with multiple tabs open, I try to open a new tab and I get this message " Restart to keep using firefox"

I have updates set to "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" And the browser was fully updated to the newest update apart from this newest one?

Every time I try to open a new tab I keep getting this message mean I was unable to save my work and lost multiple tabs ?

Can someone explain this ?

After updating with Mozilla 129.02 yesterday my platform freezes completely after about 30 secs. I cannot even get the Task manager to work. I have to switch it off at the mains and hope the switch back on is not too harmful. ( 'Update' is fast becoming one of the most scariest words in the English language)

I've noticed that after a few months Firefox ESR will go from being one specific version to two different version tracks. Eventually the older track is removed and the newer one is continued until it then splits. Can someone tell me why this happens and is there an easy way to swap over to the current track? I've included an attachment of what i'm talking about.

I just installed an update when prompted by Firefox. Now I can't log into Hotmail.

FF 129.0.2 x64. The update restarted FF. Everything else seems to work OK. But when I go to Hotmail.com, at first it displays my Hotmail inbox - which is odd; all other webpages requiring a login were logged out when I installed the update, requiring me to log in again - but then it switches to an error:

Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.

The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.

The same Hotmail account is still logged in and functioning on Chrome. This is why I think it's a FF-specific problem.

I'm trying to remove Firefox from a laptop. When I start the uninstall process it reaches the progress bar that says Unisntalling Firefox... and hangs there. 30 minutes and no discernable change.

All the buttons on the dialog are disabled and the only way to get out of it is to restart the computer.

i have bought another mac 2013 with big Sur system installed and i am not seeing firefox in the app store ? is there any solution how can i get in my mac ?

When I went online today (8/21/2024) firefox said it needed an update and started running it. Seemed to take a long time, and then timed out. killed the browser and restarted. Same thing.

Is this a bad update? Having to use another product to ask this question.

LINUX. see subject, please. i started on this laptop w/ mint. 5 or 6 years ago. then downloaded peppermint 1 and has been working great, but the browser does not update automatically like is said. Then, my Linux guy up and passed away. I know no one in town that uses it. I'M ON LINUX. any help appreciated. have gotten some replies with folk trying to help, but it just wants to download/install whole program. my bank wants me to upgrade to at least 115. can't access accts. Chase are useless. They don't know what Linux is. Perhaps someone here can point me in right direction? Regards. God bless.

Even visiting the URL in a browser produces:
