I'm unable to format text in an outgoing email.

Starting a couple of months ago it became very difficult to compose an email. Press "Enter" and it skips down two lines, then is very difficult to correct. Sometimes I try to center text, and it simply refuses.

Chosen solution

You can turn off the so-called double spacing thing. Go to Tools|Options|Composition|General and there is a checkbox for paragraph mode.

Be aware that centering can look very bad if your message is viewed in a very wide screen or window. It's OK in tables...
