Hi there, hope your day is going well!

My question is fairly simple, I'm just wondering, to get the "best bang for my buck" when it comes to using the correct release of a Mozilla product, more specifically in my case...

  1. Numbered list item Firefox
  2. Numbered list item Thunderbird
  3. Numbered list item Whether or not the ABOUT:CONFIG Settings menu works from the possible choices, or if one version or release.

For the best possible and most optimal usage of all the ABOUT:CONFIG settings should I use the Latest Nightly, just the Beta 130.0b5 (64-bit) or a Non Beta version, possibly the Canadian English Language release of the latest Firefox release would be o.k.? Some time back I thought I heard or was under the impression that certain ABOUT:CONFIG settings are accessible in some versions\releases of Firefox, but not in others and most likely more settings were going to end yup that way, but also remember reading that certain releases would keep ALL the accessible settings in ABOUT:CONFIG regardless of other releases "ditching" or "dropping" certain settings from there, can anyone clarify which version\release allows what and which one doesn't this or that? i remember hearing or reading that one of these settings that wouldn't be available in Firefox and the ABOUT:CONFIG settings menu anymore would be general.useragent.override and for people who like setting per site custom useragent strings, the ever popular general.useragent.override.www.SITE_NAME_HERE.COM.

Thanks ever so much for your time for helping me today! AND A BIG THANKYOU AND SHOUTOUT to the Volunteers at Mozilla for your service in being a Volunteer to answer & help people, Volunteering is the key to helping others on a global scale in many facets of the things we take for granted every day, like just Volunteering to hand out cups of hot soup for your local soup kitchen or soup wagon that sets up all over the city at preset locations, you could be the guy that ladles out the soup, or the girl who gives pamphlets out at local city crisis centers or shelters, yes, even at the Y.M.C.A., and it really is kinda NOT fun to stay there, so don't really take the song to heart, in such places there are alot of disinfranchised folks who are at their final few inches on their "I can't take much more of this" meter, you can be the one who brightens that person's day!

Back to Mozilla, Firefox, Thunderbird and the rest, here on Gilligan's isl.... no wait, that's something else, disregard that, back to Mozilla... not everyone knows what an ABOUT:CONFIG is, or how to set their Start Page in Thunderbird, I've been thinking about volunteering here on Mozilla, to possibly write some sort of help texts, a column (That's IF, the "powers that be" will let me?) maybe or just answer questions, everyone who has a working knowledge of what Mozilla is about, the type of questions their products bring forth and a little bit of time to spare should definately look it up, read about the volunteer positions, it's great experience, you can find it Click here to read more or possibly join the Mozilla Volunteer team today! here if you, the guy, gal or both together in one, has some time and a little knowledge, share it with your fellow humans!
