I am wondering if Firefox will help users auto opt out of cookies. By this I mean will Firefox implement a feature that the user can turn on in the settings that automatically deleted cookies that are not needed even if they select that they want to opt in or check the cookies that they are opting into and accidentally opt into ones they don't need to. I believe this could be achieved with machine learning that looks at the cookies that are required by websites and the cookies that are more than what are required. Is Mozilla thinking about adding this future or will it in the future? I believe it could change the industry.

Hello, I tried allowing a certain site (work related) to use location services on my phone but Firefox blocks it. I tried manually changing it to no avail. Even deleting site data didn't work. How do I fix this? And is there some way to view my permissions for a site without entering it?

I would like to see the desktop version of web sites on my tablet by default. FF lets me choose desktop view manually for specific pages when I open them, but I shouldn't have to do that each time. Is there a way to make it permanent?

My desktop Firefox recently decided to permanently change http to https for my lab Web site. My lab server can't handle https so I was unable to view my Web site using Firefox. I was able to correct this problem by going to Hamburger icon > History > Manage history, searching for my Web site, right-clicking on one of the found items, choosing Forget About This Site, and clicking on Forget.

How can I do this on my Android phone? I haven't been able to find the corresponding functions in the user interface.

I'm using Firefox 105.2.0 on my phone.

I Have gone thru absolutely every menu setting visible in FF for Android... and there has been no current findable answer provided in the forums. What's the deal? This should be easy. If it's just no longer an option, please say so. There's Nothing under "Enhance Tracking Protection" whether OFF or "standard"; Nothing under "Customization"; Nothing under "Private Browsing"; Nothing under "HTTPS ONLY" -- Not when enabled or Disabled; Nothing under "Site Permissions"; Nothing under "Exceptions". I know this is a feature of Android and/or my keyboard (Gboard), but is it possible to prevent putting a space after a period when typing in the address bar? Otherwise I end up with things like "firefox. com" which gets sent to the search engine. Thanks

i can't don't remember seeing them logo page before but maybe it's new.. just thought I'd bring it up. Same on my other devices too, beta or stable , didn't matter.

I've seen other references in the about pages which seem to imply i'm using a nightly build in addition to the logo..

When I have "Open links in apps" turned on, for some reason all links to xda-developers.com URLs are directed to the Nextcloud app — which obviously doesn't know what to do with them.

I enjoy the "open in app" feature but this is frustrating. I checked in the app information settings that the Nextcloud app doesn't open any URLs by default, and certainly not specific to xda-dev...?
