Your above posted More system details list shows the Flash plugin.

Does Flash work on the Adobe test page?

You can also try to disable OOPP:

I had this problem with Firefox / Minefield 4.0b8pre. I tried uninstalling flash and reinstalling (I had flash 64 for some reason).

It turned out that Adblock Plus is not working right. Even with all lists and custom filters disabled, it still won't load some sites like http://listen.grooveshark.com/

Try disabling adblock plus and restarting. The ABP developer is aware of the problem: https://adblockplus.org/blog/adblock-plus-and-element-hiding-helper-issues-in-current-firefox-nightlies

hi cor-el yeh checked that flash works on the flash test page , flash works on

sites like youtube but wont work on sites like bbc iplayer and the site you linked

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Plugin-container_and_out-of-process_plugins won't display.

rkiga i have the same issue with http://listen.grooveshark.com/ , i don't use ad blocker but read the blog and i can see that the new java engine can crate some issues and i have used the 64 bit flash player gives nothing but headaches gives random crashes spent alot of time trying to get it to work but just gave up and reverted to a 32 bit os.

i really hope Mozilla find a way to fix thees issues soon i relay like this as a web browser and hope to start using it for testing soon.

i believe im on the beta 8 version

I have the same problem and think it affects flash objects which use SWFObject - this includes BBC iplayer, which doesn't work for me (using Minefield 4.0b8pre on Maverick Meerkat). See http://getsatisfaction.com/grooveshark/topics/grooveshark_dead_in_minefield_4_0b8pre for more information about a similar bug relating to grooveshark.

I've tried reinstalling Minefield, deleting my profile, reinstalling flash, etc - but nothing works. At one stage, I had two versions of flash installed but I removed the previous version to no avail.

iplayer, etc all work in Chromium on my machine, and everything worked in FF3.

If it doesn't work in Minefield then try to disable the JIT compilers (TraceMonkey and JaegerMonkey ) to see if that helps.
If that works then you can check if there is already a bug report and if not then file one.

An update to this: I can currently watch BBC iplayer via the normal BBC webpage (eg. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00w15jc) but not via the iplayer version of the website (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00wfdlx/Edwardian_Farm_Episode_4/) - the links both point to the same programme. I can only imagine that this has something to do with javascript - I've tried the options suggested by cor-el above, which don't work for me.
