Questions re Email Inbox and Reply window:

1) I can't find a list here showing the Inbox icons and what they mean, specifically this one. I can't delete it, nor do I see anything in the inbox list of column indicators that it might be. I'd like to know what it's for and if/how it can be removed.

2) I want to have more space for the message pane; the only way to do this is to have a smaller font size for the email List pane. I don't see where I can change this. Is it possible to decrease this font size? I've tried but haven't t been able to locate info on this website.)

3) Reply font: I keep changing it to my Preference, but it keeps going back to a default.

Also, find it annoying that I can't select a specific font SIZE. I've never seen a Windows desktop software of ANY kind, not just email, which doesn't give have choice of font size as well as the font itself. Is there a suggestion area on this website?

I use the Firefox extension video speed control. No problem on my tablets, however, with my phone when I do a playlist, it only speeds up on the first video then I have to go into the settings and reset each of the playlist videos. Is there a way to play all the videos with the same settings. The extension does not give me the same options as my tablets. Thank you for your help.

I quit all and shut down my computer on 30 July 2024. On returning, ( 9 August 2024) and re-opening everything, I cannot get any emails newer than when I shutdown the system. Am I doing something wrong?

I lost power today and when I had it restored, had a message that the Firefox versions were incompatible (I think it got interrupted during an update. Anyway, no internet access through Firefox, so I deleted Firefox thinking I could reinstall and all might be good. So far, not so good...

I was able to Google my way to install the extended release version of Firefox for dinosaurs but I lost all of my bookmarks. Is there a way to get this back? I would hate to start over finding the places I visit and also recalling old spreadsheets, documents, etc....

Any help would be appreciated.

Why does a website (communityapps.com) open and function in Firefox and also Safari on my Macbook Pro (2020) but gives only a blank page in Firefox (loading OK in Safari) on my iMac (2021) both with current & identical OS and Firefox versions? (I don't want to use Safari.)

When playing YouTube videos in full screen using

Firefox: the gear button and the "restore screen size/exit full screen" button are nonfunctional (nothing happens when I tap on them).

Google Chrome browser: the gear icon button is nonfunctional.

DuckDuckGo browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

Opera browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

This problem started about a week and a half ago.

When searching with Firefox, I am forwarded to a Captcha using Google search. I am not required if searching from chrome. Why the difference and how do I use Firefox and avoid the Captcha requirement?

I went to my local streaming platform Videoland (It's like netflix, a paid platform to watch series) And it's telling me the video can't play because my browser version is too old and I need to update it.

Of course, I checked and, well... my firefox is up to date. What could be the problem?

I donated to MZLA, looking forward to an "improved" Thunderbird. I am very frustrated by the result.

Downloaded and started new Thunderbird, and I have several questions:

This is a serious inquiry; I am desperate for information & help.

1. What happened to my address book? How can I get it back? A hundred or more addresses just disappeared.

2. What happened to all of my saved messages? How can I get them back? I used to have a neatly organized file of saved messages. If I was still using Tbird for my business, I would be looking for a lawyer. As it is, I am simply looking for something as useful as the old Tbird.

3. How can I save a message to a specific category or off line file? I used to have several hundred categorized files in my data base for saved messages.

4. Why does my effort to use a help request not respond to my mouse clicks? It seems to always want more donations.

5. Can I go back to the old version? It was easier to use and more straightforward.

6. What am I missing in this "new and improved" version? Is there another email application that would give me the nice features of the old Thunderbird?

7. Can I revert back to the old Tbird and recover the extensive lost addresses and saved messages?

8. If I decide the "new and improved" Tbird will not provide the features the old one did, how can I get a refund of my contribution?

How do I delete multiple emails? I keep getting emails that say that I am at 95%. The only way I have figured out how to delete emails is one at a time! That will take a long time. I have tried clicking and selecting and that is not working! HELP!

When I attempt to search something and expect a redirect to my search engine or try to access a site that autocompletes in the address bar (for example, typing drive, autocompleting to drive.google.com, then clicking Enter to go to Google Drive), sometimes the website does not load after pressing Enter, and it is as if the search/address input did not go through after pressing Enter.

This seems to be an issue that has been occurring only over the past few months. What may be the issue, and how may I resolve this?
