Has the "Remember Me" function for website automatic logons quit working?
Probably a Cookies issue. Clear your Cookies for the affected websites.

Tools > Options -> Privacy - Cookies = Show Cookies button
Enter the domain in the Search bar at the top and all the Cookies for that URL will appear. Unless you can figure out which Cookie is for "remember me", you'll need to delete them all.

Hold the {Ctrl} key while you click on each Cookie in the small window. When that list is all highlighted, click the Remove Cookie button in the lower left.
When you are done click Close.

If that problem persists, you might need to delete the cookies.sqlite file in your Profile folder.

that trick didnt work where is the cookies.sqlite file?

Same here...3.0.10 won't save passwords.

Holding Ctrl inside the Cookies window, does not let you select multiple cookies. I wish it did.

Hi Noah

I haven't needed a password manager up to now. FireFox has always stored usernames/passwords just fine. Until 3.0.10 that is.

All I would like to know is what changed with 3.0.10????

i googled how to find the cookies.sqlite file and it is located in your profile. here is how to find your profile on Windows Vista

1. Click the Windows Start button, and type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ in the Start Search box near the bottom of the Start menu, without pressing Enter.

click on firefox profiles and a folder will open with a file that is made of random numbers and letters click it. your cookies.sqlite file will be in there. i deleted it and bingo problem solved

CK, it's not a password manager per se. It autofills the already saved passwords into password fields since Firefox doesn't autofill them for security reasons.

Anyway, try following Natalie O's steps, let us know. By the way, Firefox needs to be closed while doing all that.

Yes, deleting cookies.sqlite worked. :-)
