solved Changing cache folder location

Firefox version: 3.0.1 Operating system: Windows Vista

I'm trying to change the default cache folder location from the C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\glhpd5hr.profilename\Cache to a customized folder. I have my temp folders in a disk partition especifically destinated to that, preserving the amount of space and access privileges on the system disk (and because I think a system disk may be not the right place for temporary 'dust' files).

IE let me to change the 'temporary internet files' folder with a simple click, but MF don't. Even I can't see in the about:config a profile setting (i.e. browser.cache.folder) about this issue.

Ok. The cuestion is: how can I change the cache file location in MF-3?

TIA
A fried.

use "about:config" and add a new string " browser.cache.disk.parent_directory " with your new TEMP directory

check this:

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.cache.disk.parent_directory

Ok, it works. Thanks.
