My homepage is being redirected to another website, called Pasar Global Classifieds (dial.com) which was not installed by me, and is a nuisance. I have searched for this bug, but have been unable to locate it. What do you suggest?
I have homepage set to blank in the Mozilla options, and there is no problem with that. The redirect only occurs when I use the homepage icon at the top of the Mozilla Page to clear a tab. I, in no way initiated this function, and have never visited this company's website, nor do I have need of their product. I have deleted cookies, and have searched extensions and plug-ins, as well as my program files...I just can't find it. I have emailed info@dial.com requesting help in deleting this bug, but have not received an answer.

When you say it is set to blank, do you mean the actual word blank? In that case, change it to about:blank and see whether that helps.
Re-directs to ad page can be caused by malware. Try running several malware scanners. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:

Same problem here.
What finally worked for me was to reset my toolbars and controls in safemode since nothing else worked. I used the RUN " firefox -safe-mode "option because going to the Firefox folder was of no use.
