Hi, I've been having the same problem and after a lot of looking around I found how to clear the cache for my extensions, after doing that Norton Toolbar 4.0 in AddOns shows that it's not compatible with firefox 3.5.4. So i'm guessing we just have to wait for it to be updated...

Same problem caused by Norton restart yesterday due to Norton update. Running Norton NIS 2010 v 17.0.0.136. Today Norton tech support deinstalled and then reinstalled and Norton toolbar, etc and addons reappeared on Firefox 3.5.4 and are now working. Norton, however, lost all my passwords, some 2 years worth.

Ned to clarify that yesterday Norton Liveudate provided NIS 2010 v 17.1.0.14 which required restart caused the problems with both firefox 3.5.3 and 3.5.4. Norton deinstalled and reinstalled v 17.0.0.136 which now works.

I am working again. I actually de-installed Norton and re-installed. After the re-install, it is v 17.0.0.136 as Riccoh stated. Thanks for the help.

Its he only add-on that gives me trouble EVERY TIME I upgrade Firefox.

good for you?

Why is it every time there is an update for Firefox, Norton Toolbar disappears. Firefox is getting to be as bad as Microsoft. Updates every day and not playing well with others on the playground.
