request for more information firefox 3.5.2 English version shows bookmarks menu in a different language

Hello,

I just downloaded the newest English-US version of the firefox for macintosh. However, only the bookmark related materials show up in a different language. All the language settings in the preferences are set to English.
Could anyone please help me fix this annoying problem?

Do you mean the default bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar (Most Visited,Getting Started,Latest Headlines)?
Or do you mean items in the Bookmarks menu?

You probably need to change those names yourself to the English version if they are in the wrong language.

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (200 KB) and do not click Preview after you have attached the image.

You can change the Properties (including the name) of a Bookmark or Tag in the Datails (Properties) pane at the bottom of the right pane in the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks: Shift+Ctrl+B) after selecting an item.
You can rename a tag by selecting the Tags folder in the left panel and change the name in the Info pane at the bottom right.
You can also rename a Bookmark in the side bar (Ctrl+B) via the Properties entry in the right-click context menu.

I'm having the same problem. everything in firefox is in english except for the bookmarks menu which in thai. i do live in thailand, but i DL the english version of firefox. i've checked all the lang settings i could find and they are all english. thoughts?
