When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
2. If needed, delete your charter.net cookies Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" Carefully remove the site's cookies individually, do NOT click remove "all" unless you really want to remove all your cookies (there is no undo for this dialog).
Any luck? If that doesn't help, can you post a list of your Extensions? They are listed here: Tools > Add-ons > Extensions.
"jscher2000" I followed your instructions didn't help. Here is a list of add-ons: AVG safesearch 8.5,Java quick starter1.0,Microsoft .NETframework asst.1.1,Real networks real arcade V3plugin 3.0,Visicom big fish tool bar,Real player browser record plugin 1.0 Original problem it locks up and won't open attachments in my e-mail.
