This never happened with 2.x but whenever I go to Yahoo Games to play a game of Euchre, Firefox suddenly takes up 100% of my cpu's resources. This causes the game to lag and freeze. I have ran all antivirus and anti-spyware/adware programs and nothing is found.

I suspect this to be a problem on Firefox's end because as I said, this never happened with 2.x.

Update your old Java Plug-in 1.5.0_06 to the latest version: Java

(those captchas are almost impossible to decipher without zooming the page and even then it is not easy)

You are absolutely right, I had the same problem even after updating JAVA so i went back to 2.0.20 and now yahoo games works fine.

I'm having the same problem. Don't have the problem with internet explorer.

The same problem is with IE as with Firefox. Their Ad engine is the problem.

They make changes and fix them later. I am using both the latest Firefox 3.6 and IE 8.06+ along with Java Version 6 Update 18.

Yahoo has done this before. Eventually they figure it out.

In the mean time get some eggs, cause your CPU will be red hot.
