I get the following message each time I move to a new page on a website:
The proxy 134.126.36.84:7500 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "LIB-VM-DNS2.ad.jmu.edu"
I click cancel and it goes away, but it is a pain to do it so often
Ya. Me too.
Hello.
You have accessed JMU private research library and need to unset LAN script.
Right click IE. Go to CONNECTIONS. Go to LAN SETTINGS. You will see box with USE AUTOMATIC CONFIG SCRIPT, UNCLICK this box and make sure AUTO DETECT SETTINGS is CLICKED ON. OK close and all is corrected. To use site again go back and click on box with config script.
I use Mozilla and was having the same problem. I went to Tools > Options > Advanced > Network. From there I clicked Settings and then clicked the No Proxy instead of what was selected. This has solved my problem! Hope it helps!
This is for Jackie...
Your solution worked like a charm. Sorry about the delay in thanking you.
