Firefox 4 is not supporting IBM Lotus Notes, previous versions did. Any solutions?

My emails on IBM Lotus Notes do not show up in version 4. They did in the previous versions of Firefox.

Try Lotus Notes support for help with that issue.

Firefox does not "support" IBM Lotus Notes, it is up to IBM to make Lotus Notes work properly with each new version of Firefox. Chances are they are waiting until the actual release of Firefox 4 is a lot closer, so they don't have to re-do whatever changes they need to do repeatedly during the Firefox 4 beta stages. Based upon there being at least 3 more Betas scheduled (8, 9, & 10) to be made before the RC (Release Candidate) stage is reached, it might be February or March before Firefox 4 is actually released.

While waiting for your Lotus Domino administrator to apply this fix https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21474006 , you can try this workaround: Download the "Remote XUL Manager" from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/remote-xul-manager/.

Add the domain part/server name to the "whitelist" (Tools menu, "Remote XUL Manager"). I'd recommend inserting both just the server name and the FQDN for that server - especially handy if you use a VPN that enforces NAT rules. source: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd85forum.nsf/DateAllThreadedWeb/70917e98d832a1be8525785d003a64c4?OpenDocument

Another workaround which worked for me, but not sure if all functionalities work is using iNotes in Lite or Ultra-Lite mode.

Good luck!

I have same problem. I have switched to Seamonkey specifically for access to Lotus Notes (Version 7 at my employer), as this also allows access via Win 7 (as well as XP), whereas IE and Firefox do not. It is simpler for me, as our I.S. service will not release server information. While not as advanced as Firefox, Seamonkey is nonetheless very usable and shares a number of Mozilla add-ons.
