My Firefox browser is somehow corrupted with foreign language features. See in the picture that much of the text is in English - the selected and preferred language. It is what the Settings are set to. But notice that bits and pieces are in some other language. I recently made a trip to Spain and used translation features while there - but those was all reset to English. I've gone into Troubleshooting mode; I've restarted; I've reset and restarted. But I can't seem to get rid of the gibberish. WTH!!!! All copies of Firefox, on all owned Mac machines (i-Phone; Mac Mini; I-Mac Pro; I pads) are set to English. About the only thing I haven't done it uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I just lost several hundred tabs on Firefox mobile right after it updated itself. The most recent tabs show only ten of those tabs, which were all opened and closed today and aren't part of what I need to restore.

How do I get my tabs back? I've seen no 'restore previous session' option. My laptop only shows the few I have open now. What do I do to restore them?

So this problem keeps happening to me - I click "upload" on a website and nothing happens. For example, trying to upload photos to my website or upload files to a platform. Frustrating. To work around it I've been using a separate tab of Google chrome but it's such a pain to keep swapping back and forth. Please help!!

I've gone into "sort-by" and tried enabling threading. I've tried checking the unthreaded box. Group job related email still just disappears. I can't find received group email in the trash or in the junk. I can't find any evidence in Thunderbird that the group email was received. If I go to a different email tool, there it is. Thunderbird is broken. If I scroll back in time and accidentally scroll past the date of the first group email, there it is. I can't be spending all day scrolling through months to years worth of email just to find out I got a group email from someone today. This is totally unreliable way to find an urgent work email.

Hi. I have approximately 26 folders in gmail and 34 filters that sort messages from my inbox to the appropriate folder on the mail server. I am planning on rearranging the filters and would like to know if there is a preferred way to optimize them. For example, am I better off having individual filters (say from several health providers) that end up saving respective messages into a 'Health' folder OR should I have 1 filter that looks for each provider in turn (OR condition aka 'Match any of...' ) then moves them to the 'Health' folder.

Not worried about performance, but more wondering if one method is more efficient than another.

Also, I seem to recall seeing in the filter help pages that it is preferable to have local storage for filters as opposed to having the mail server sort them out. Why is that?

Hey folks, I've been noticing something peculiar with Firefox that's been bothering me lately. Whenever I try to watch videos on YouTube in resolutions above 1080p, they tend to randomly buffer. It's quite frustrating, especially when I know my internet connection is stable and other browsers don't seem to have this issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem with Firefox? And if so, do you have any tips or solutions to share? Thanks in advance for any insights!

I'm setting up TB for the first time with multiple email and calendar accounts. Some are gmail / google, and others o365.

The primary TB account's calendar doesn't seem to be syncing fully. It's an o365. account. But the email is working.

I added an event on my Outlook for Android on my phone. Its appearing in OWA, and in New Outlook on my computer (so it did sync from mobile Android device to server, and from server to my New Outlook on the Windows desktop). But its not appearing in TB.

Not sure what to check or what the issue might be.

Also, I'd love to replace Outlook Android on my mobile with what I think is K-9. But can't get the same account referenced here to connect to the outbound server.

Welcome any help, and appreciate you all doing this collaborative work.

I’ve used Firefox for many years on both my pc and mobile and keep them both up to date and use sync. However recently when using the app and wish to enter my username and password with autofill, after using my phones passkey, I can find the website on my password list but the username and password are not being displayed and will not autofill to the website I am attempting to use. However, when I am using the website on my pc I have no issues at all. Even after manually entering the username on the app password list and attempt to access it again at a later time, the username and password are not being displayed or deleted. Please see attached photo as an example.

I have clicked on the 3 bar Menu icon and Options is not there. I clicked on Tools in the Menu Bar and Options is not there either. I have a Fastmail and 2 Cox addresses on rolled back Thunderbird 102. The Fastmail is IMap and both Cox addresses are POP 3. Cox is transitioning to Yahoo Mail, but we have kept our Cox addresses. I'm getting Yahoo mail web mail and think I should change the existing settings on Thunderbird and not create new accounts, but want to make sure. I saw something about Thunderbird and Yahoo and want to make sure I do it right or should use the third party setting for desktop clients that Cox provided for the transition. For me, the transition has not gone smoothly and I'm pretty frustrated. I am not a techie and any help in getting mail to the 2 Cox addresses landing in Thunderbird and the Fastmail continuing as is would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I just installed Thunderbird (working elsewhere) on a Windows 11 machine, and used the 'auto setup' feature. Sending/receiving works fine, but for every message sent:

1. A pop-up appears, which reads 'Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message to Local Folders/Sent-mydomain.com

2. The current command did not succeed. The mail server for account mydomain.com responded [TRYCREATE] Folder doesn't exist. (Failure).

Sent messages appear just fine locally in Thunderbird, and also on Gmail, and they send fine as well, so I just need to disable the incorrect error messages. Thanks for any help (NOOB level tech savvy).

Hello, I have Webmail by Godday. I have been using Thunderbird for many years to connect to my accounts without issue. Past couple days I get an error message saying it can't connect to the server. Godaddy says they haven't changed anything. I can log in on Webmail but not with Thunderbird. Thunderbird brings up my mail from before it couldn't log in so I have all my stuff I have saved but I can't get new mail or send mail. I deleted Cache, restarted and all that... Along with most of the world, I hate threads. My normal practice is to keep only the last email in a thread quoting all the contributions, and to delete the rest. Then I have one email with everything about that in it, with a history trail. I've done this for years and years. Then, some time last year, after an update of Thunderbird, everything was in threads. Someone replies to my message, and the thread goes missing from Sent, and appears in Inbox, but not marked as unread - you only see this when you expand the thread. If you reply, it jumps back into Sent. Finding anything is now a time-consuming nightmare. But there also appears to be at least one bug.

Suppose I now go into a thread and delete an intervening email. Thunderbird clears the preview panel of emails. If I click on Sent then back in Inbox, they reappear! But if I'm now confused as to exactly what that delete did to how many emails, I click Edit / Undo Delete. What it seemed to do tonight when I hit the Delete was get rid of a big chunk of the large thread, including some emails I hadn't read yet, and some not in this or other threads! They are not in the Deleted folder - they are gone! I think it has also done this before. What a mess! As for evidence, reproducing it is not something I want to do.

Do Firefox menus appear differently in Windows 10 than they do in Windows 7?

In Windows 7, I see the normal system menus - square corners, light blue menu item highlights, 3D column line on the left, dark drop shadow below and to the right of the menu.

In Windows 10 I notice differences - gray-highlighted menu items, rounded corners, no drop shadow, etc.

I'm not using any code to style the menus.

Please see attached images.
