Im using minefield currently as its the 64bit version. Is firefox 4 64bit and which one is better or whats the difference??

On the Mac, Firefox 4 will ship with a universal binary containing 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

Minefield is the name used for the development versions of Firefox, it is updated daily and contains the latest bleeding-edge changes and updates. Due to this it can be unstable at times. Unless you are happy testing development versions you should not use Minefield, instead stick with the Firefox 4 beta builds.
