Why does New York Times New York Edition have a blank center page where I have to scroll down to read the main story and not the Global Edition?

When I open the New York Times URL, I see writing in the left column and the very top banner, but the articles, and photos of the page are 2 pages below. I have to scroll once to go below. However, when I click, view "Global Edition" the page is displayed properly even if the same images and articles are in the Global Edition that day.
