You can block the site yourself with the "'''Adblock Plus'''" (ADP) extension with your own filters ||mylife.com^ ||reunion.com^ Neither site is blocked by the subscription filters "EasyList US" or "Fanboys". Adblock Plus will do nothing without filters and a subscription or two is easily added after installing ADP. The extension is large but well worth having on your main or only Firefox profile. I don't think either site comes close to being a hijacking. A nice feature of Adblock Plus filters is that each subscription, and your own additions are maintained separately. Another is that you can bring up a "blockable items" report to see what can be blocked as well as what is blocked, and you can see the specific filter that is blocking an item. You can use an extension such as "'''WOT'''" to warn you of a bad site, it is based on user experience and often just what people seem to think a site is about based on the name. The extension will block access to bad sites, but you can override the warning. Yee ha! Already had Adblock Plus installed (something I swear by) and, once I found the right pull-down menu, it was a breeze to do. Thanks muchly. It's great to learn the power of add-ons you already have; guess it pays to explore occasionally!

 erase sessionstore.js  (enter key)
 exit (enter key and back to desktop)

If you firefox homepage is hijacked by reunion.com or mylife.com there are a couple ways to fix this very annoying problem. Fix #1 is to Start-Run for firefox.exe -ProfileManager and delete your profile. The downside of this approach is that all your bookmarks and other settings get deleted too. Fix #2 is Start-AllPrograms-Accessories-CommandPrompt and type these commands (make sure there is a space between application and data). cd application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles (enter key) dir (enter key and note the odd name of the most recent profile) cd oddname.profile (enter key) erase sessionstore.js (enter key) exit (enter key and back to desktop) With the second approach your bookmarks and other setting are not deleted.
