FireFox assumes that text size is the same for all pages in a domain, rferl.org for example. That is _not_ true. If I have set size to 50% and then take a link to a page that's different and have to set size to 67% to read it, when I return to the original page, size is 67% and text is too large.

I've been using a Rewards site regularly (3/4 times per month) for several years without problem. This weekend the attached pop-up appeared. It makes no difference whether I select Resend or Cancel, the program just re-displays the pop-up trapping me in an endless loop. The only exit is to close the window and abort the process. I was able to complete the task without any problem using Edge instead so it appears to be a Firefox specific issue. I haven't consciously changed anything since last using the site successfully on 24 May. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

after downloading and installing v.126 of firefox, my history has disappeared. the browser is not generating new history from web site visits. the history is fixed permanently on a single web address. this is the web address of a site that is in my toolbar. this site cannot be deleted from the history. this site cannot be deleted through the preferences menu. the same site shows in the history file as the only site visited in the past several months, even though i have not visited that site in the past several months. the browser does not show my browsing history. the browser does not create a browsing history. my history function is permanently broken.

https:\\archive.org works perfectly in Firefox on Win-10, but on a new Linux Mint install, (with default Firefox as included), this particular website simply displays as a blank white screen. Every other website I try on the Linux install works perfectly; it is only this one website which does not work.
There are no add-ons, no proxies, no security suites, nothing extra. I cleared all cookies and cache. Tried running FF in Protected Mode. Nothing seems to fix it. There are no error messages displayed - just a blank white screen.
And, to make it worse, I am not particularly computer-literate, (I'm 82 years old...), so you will have to give me simple guidance if I need to get involved with deeper logging etc.

My name is Ievgeniia Kukushkina and I hope I can get help here 🙏
I represent company called Piano Software which provides user experience and paywall software to manage subscriptions and access to content for companies. Our customers news websites use our software to make a relevant experience for end-users. But end users, who use your software could not access to that content, because your software blocks ours. We received multiple tickets regarding Firefox blocking the execution of Piano scripts
Hey,
It seems Firefox blocks all Piano Scripts in the strict privacy mode of the browser.
For a few days now users are reporting, that they can't access the Login via firefox. In the "strict" privacy mode all Piano scripts seem to get blocked. Even Paywalls and Banner are missing. When i choose a custom privacy setting and block everything but "tracking content", all piano functions are available again.
Did you change anything in your cookie handling, that may have be causing browsers to categorize piano cookies wrong and block them?
Steps to reproduce (see also video):
open
thepioneer.de in firefox
in standard brwoser privacy setting you should be able to see the Login button, Paywalls, Banner
open pricavy settings and turn on strict mode
Login Button etc. disappear
Turn privacy setting to custom and uncheck "tracking content" -> Login appears again.

Hello,
there is a problem in the firefox browser, if you use "private window" the function "Extended tracking protection" is turned on automaticly and in this case you can't log in to the account and also article locks don't appear at all
I mean this:
here it doesn't appear in firefox https://prnt.sc/AqgqRBjTKUg5 this is normally displayed in chrome https://prnt.sc/PvJVJOZulUbt
Hello,
Recently we've received some reports from people that they are unable to sign-in on our website in Firefox. It seems like the Piano script is being blocked for some reason. One of our developers has provided a recording of what he was seeing here (a Sign-In / Subscribe button should be appearing in the top right if it were working properly).
He is using Firefox version 126.0 on macOS, in private browsing mode, using Standard browser privacy settings. We've had others report the same issue on Windows in normal browsing mode. We previously haven't had issues with those settings before, so we're not sure if something may have changed.
Do you have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Hello,
I have created a webpage with a canvas element that allows the user to draw an irregular path by pressing down the mouse, similar to the free drawing of a paint application. The issue is that the very first time that the user presses the mouse, the line stops abruptly, while the next times the lines are drawn correctly. The events seem to fire correctly and the page works fine at Chromium, so it seems to be a Firefox issue. You can find the html page below. I am curious, what could be the problem?
<meta charset="UTF-8"> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"> <title>Canvas</title> <style> #canvas { background-color: whitesmoke; border: solid 2px brown; } </style> <canvas id="canvas"></canvas> <script> function startDrawing(e) { isDrawing = true; context.beginPath(); context.moveTo(e.offsetX, e.offsetY); } function draw(e) { if (isDrawing) { context.lineTo(e.offsetX, e.offsetY); context.stroke(); } } function stopDrawing(e) { console.log("stopped drawing") isDrawing = false; } const canvas = document.getElementById('canvas'); const context = canvas.getContext('2d'); var isDrawing = false; canvas.width = 1000; canvas.height = 1000; context.strokeStyle = "#913d88"; context.lineWidth = 2; canvas.onmousedown = startDrawing; canvas.onmouseup = stopDrawing; canvas.onmousemove = draw; </script>

I'm hoping someone can help with a conundrum.
A few years ago, whenever I first started Firefox--whether I had just started up my computer or had exited Firefox and opened it back up--it would take several minutes for Firefox to load any website (Google, Amazon, weather.com--anything). Once the first site loaded, it would load subsequent sites normally. Interestingly, it was only my default profile that was affected; if I used another profile or created a new one, websites would load within seconds of my starting Firefox.
I finally broke down and created a new default profile, imported my history/bookmarks/etc., reinstalled extensions, adjusted settings, etc. The new profile behaved nicely, loading the first website within a few seconds of Firefox starting. But over time, the load time has gradually increased to the point where it is now behaving just like the old profile: I load Firefox, I try to go to any website, and it takes several minutes for it to load.
Any ideas what's happening/what's the problem? Hoping someone out there has some wisdom and can help troubleshoot. Thanks!

Does anyone know the problem and can help me? It's really critical for our business, as the guest cannot interact with the device and only a browser restart helps.
One more thing: I saw today that a second Firefox.exe process was running. After killing it, it worked again. What kind of process could it be that is affecting the main app so much?
THANK YOU

I'm hoping to get some help with disabling the Insecure connection password warning in Firefox version 115.11.0.
In previous versions, I could disable this warning through the about:config settings. However, I couldn't find the specific setting (security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled) that was mentioned in some online resources.
I understand the security risks involved in disabling these warnings, and I only intend to do this on a trusted website on my local network.
Could you please advise on the best approach for achieving this in Firefox 115.11.0, or any alternative solutions to manage insecure connection warnings for trusted local sites?
Thanks in advance for your help!
