I have 750mb Claro fiber internet, directly on the cable. I updated Firefox. My internet dropped to 300/340mb. I complained to Claro. They tested by connecting another computer to the cable. It gave 800mb. I installed Chrome. Speed ​​was 900mb. What to do in Firefox to regain speed?

Can't log on to x.com. Getting this message: "Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection (Strict Mode) is known to cause issues on x.com".

I added x.com and twitter.com as an exception in Settings/Enhanced Tracking Protection and still not working.

I would like to force spellcheck for all websites, and override any HTML code from the websites. which may be disabling it. This should be done automatically and not by inspecting and manually altering the HTML. I consulted with ChatGPT and tried adding some code to my existing userChrome.css but it is having no effect, even after clearing cache and restarting Firefox. For instance, faxzero.com has a form with spellcheck disabled. I tinkered with the CSS and kept testing faxzero, but the spellcheck always remains disabled. How can I accomplish my goal?

I contact you because, even without an adblocker, Youtube is very slow with Firefox navigator. I don't understand why and I don't have this problem with Google Chrome ? Fews years earlier, I never had this problem with slow Youtube when using Firefox Navigator. I don't know if the problem comes from Youtube or Mozilla and I contacted both of them.

When I do right mouse click on page, depending on the mouse cursor position, context menu appears and I need to scroll up or down to access appropriate item. I thought I need to try and fix size and position of a page context menu. Is it possible? I've pinned it and it shows up in the Toolbar, no issues till here.

However, when I exit Firefox and open it again, the extension is no longer pinned. I cannot even locate the extension in the list of extension when i click on the little "puzzle" icon that shows you your lists of addons and allows you to pin them.

Everytime after I start a fresh session of Firefox, I have to go about:addons find the add on, toggle it off and then toggle it on again (it stays on after restart btw) for it show up in the toolbar.

Can you assist in figuring out why this addon is behaving this way?

I had to restore Windows to its initial settings. I lost all my programs because of this, including Firefox. I reinstalled the browser, logged in to my account (which is synchronized), but instead of recovering all my bookmarks I got nothing. Empty bookmark box. What's worse, they were initially available on the mobile device, but they were also deleted there (both from the browser and from the smartphone). Firefox restored history, add-ons, but not bookmarks. Is there any way to recover these bookmarks?

I refreshed Firefox last night. Now, Facebook doesn't display images--it displays about half; the rest are blank boxes. Facebook closes while I'm typing. A game I've been playing freezes and I have to close it and re-open it. Telus email seems to be fine. My Google results are in massive type and I can't adjust it.

Since the new update, when I select an autofill a new tab opens for the settings. I have closed it many times, double checked the settings and closed it, etc. but it still opens a new one every time I use the autofill feature... please advise.

When you go into 'Manage Bookmarks' and click on 'Import/Backup Bookmarks' is there a way to clear out the list of files listed when you hover over 'Restore ->' which brings up the list of recent bookmark files that you have restored?

After restarting Firefox i found I've lost all History and Bookmarks.

As the title says, it is very slow with Ublock Origin. I have refreshed Firefox and without Ublock it obviously works but I would like to keep the extension because it is the only one that works with Youtube Ads right now.

Been searching. Updated firefox and lost passwords (across MacBook and iMac Firefox versions) so googled, went looking for logins.json etc files. No sign of them, and no firefox folder in applicationsupport/library on my Mac. Showing hidden files. About:profiles shows only one profile. No idea how I can restore things. Time Machine backup on desktop iMac has no firefox profile files. Where is the data please? Etc etc :O)

I often run into issues with PDFs in Firefox Linux. They either appear totally blank (typically after suspend/restore), or they appear with the desktop background showing through (as in the attached screenshot).

Hard refreshing the page doesn't change anything, opening a new tab and opening the PDF again doesn't change anything, opening a new window and loading the PDF doesn't change anything.

I'm on OSX Catalina 10.15.7 and all of a sudden I am unable to get any sound from my FireFox browser. I tried to play audio/video from 3 different websites - Youtube, 123greeting.com and Gettr and while the video played, there was no audio coming out on any of the sites. I have no problems watching and hearing videos on my other browsers - Brave and Vivildi so this issue is with Firefox on multiple websites. Please advise as to where to look for some switch to turn the sound back on my Firefox browser. Thanks
