I have added my gmail account to TB and it downloads all the folders and emails correctly, but as soon as I try to move an email with an attachment from a local folder to a folder on the gmail acount I get "Connection to server imap.gmail.com timed out" errors.

Hello, I have problem with firefox. When I try download from facebook page files .docx, .xlsx (Microsoft Office) Firefox automatically download it as PDF and file is broken. I don't know how to repair this. Please help, it is very frustrating.

i need some help with my firefox browser. all of a sudden my firefox browser wont download any files from anywhere but if i try to use the save image as on an image firefox would download them. weirdest thing is other browsers are fine when downloading files.

Prior to update 125.0.1 corporate intranet users could download PDF files from our Line of Business applications / Webpages. Today after the latest update the PDF files download but are corrupted. The site was added to the trusted webpage without improvement.

I recently setup a new Windows 11 computer and installed the latest version of Thunderbird. I have two email accounts. The gmail account presented no problems. When I tried to setup the AT&T account I first obtained an authentication password and setup the account. While I can send email just fine, the account will not download any email. When I go on the AT&T server directly, there are new, sent and deleted email there. The server settings are set to SSL/TLS and OAuth2. What else do I need to setup before I can mail from the AT&T server?

i SET UP THUNDERBIRD ON MY NEW COMPUTER, SUCCESSFULLY, BUT THREE DAYS AGO MY WEB HOST/SERVERS UPGRADED THEIR SYSTEM. i SPENT THREE DAYS SORTING OUT NEW SETTINGS. CONFIGURATIONS, PASSWORDS, ETC, TO GET IT ALL WORKING, IT WAS DIFFICUL BUT IT NOW WORKS. HOWEVER, I HAVE MANY FOLDERS OF MAIL ,AND MAIL NOT IN FOLDERS, IN THEUNDERBIRD ON AN OLDER COMPUTER. i WANT TO IMPORT THOSE FOLDERS OF MAIL, AND ADD THEM TO MY NEW COMPUTER THUNDERBIRD INBOX SET UP, BUT I DO NOT WANT TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AGAIN!" THAT COULD BE A DISASTER. I JUST WANT THE MAIL AND THE FOLDERS. ALL THE VIDEOS i SEE ARE TO IMPORT THE OLD SETTINGS AS WELL. CAN I JUST EXPORT/IMPORT THE ACTUAL MAIL FOLDERS AND MAIL, AND NOT SABOTAGE MY HARD WORK BY CHANGING ALL THE NEW SETTINGS AND PASSWORDS BACK TO WHAT THEY USED TO BE IN THE PROCESS?? I did lost all history data after a previous update, my user got corrupted data and somehow I did manage to import the info into Edge browser. To my surprise after I reinstalled a clean Firefox, it only imported back 3 months of browsing history. Topically, average user keep a computer 3-4 years.. I don't know from where developers came with the idea of limiting to such a shot interval. I have thousands of browsing history links from more that 10 years kept and I need them all.

Tried to increase the number from about:config, but there is an option only for Chrome which I never used and always hate :)

I did installed Chrome to convince myself about it's ingenuity, even if it was not necessary. It does have import option only from Microsoft Explorer, no Edge.

If there is a solution for importing a longer period and high number of entries, please share it.

I'm not an IT expert, but I can manage consoles if there is an even deeper option to modify config files.

On Sunday 2nd June I removed and then reloaded Thunderbird, which ceased to function the previous day.. Now I can't send but can receive e mails, and it has lost my entire e mail address list. I need this list to be restored asap, please, so I need advice.

We have a client using Azure Virtual Desktops. Most of the users prefer to use Firefox. We are having an issue that anytime we update Firefox and reimage the virtual hosts. When the users login they get a new Firefox profile. We have to remote in and copy their old profile data to the new profile.

Is there a better way for us to handle Firefox and profiling in and Azure Virtual Desktop deployment?

When attempting to install a "clean" verison (delete old, install new) I get an error message about using the firefox removal tool. Where do I get it and how do I remove the old one and install a newest version?

I have used Thunderbird for years. I recently updated to version 115. I prefer the previous version. In 115, I cannot zoom a page simply with ctrl-+ without first going to the view menu. My two Outlook inboxes are sorted at the bottom of my list of favorites and they cannot be moved up with my other inboxes. I had no problems with the previous version. How can I get and reinstall that version?

As title- Cannot download for example webm format, but jpg is okay. cannot install any addon, theme or anything. DRM didnt install as well. i was trying reinstall, refreshing browser, rebooting.

Hi I did a backup with Zip.file, and then tried to reinstall. Now somme accounts do not have sent/spam/trash Bin folders. When i try to send a mail, i am told that there is not enouch space on the disk to save the message, and that the message will be save in a local folder ? How can I get back to my "old" and working setup Kind regards Michael

Hi, I'm a MTB newbie Version 115.11.1 and am just trying to import my comcast.net address book from CSV. MTB seems to be totally confused about the columns. I'd be happy to adjust the column assignments, as I think I'm supposed to, but it won't let me. The automatically selected column name is the only option allowed in the drop-down. See attached.

Is this by design? Do I need to reorder the columns within the exported file. Seems a bit much really, but ultimately doable, I guess.

Any other options? Or what am I doing wrong
