Nope! that doesn't fix it...

Note: Even if i uninstalled firefox, removed profile folder, program files folder, and registry, restarted then reinstall firefox 3.6.4 and above still it freezes when i open General Tab in Firefox Tools > Options... or the Application Tab.

Have you tested firefox with safe mode?

@frank1240: Yes did that already but still problem encountered. I also tried delete the profile folders, program files folders, registry clean up, and install firefox with no addons, just a plain 3.6.12 firefox, but when i open tools - options and general tab it freezes again... I also try to google all around the web about this issue, and i found out that i am not the only one having this problem, and to that posts there's no solution also. again i am going to say this, this only happens in firefox 3.6.4 and above. Now i am using back to v3.6.3 which is no problem from any corners experienced.

Where can I get a copy of 3.6.3? Nobody seems to be able to come up with a solution to this problem and since it's a problem with running in XP the developers probably don't care
