Knowledge Base articles are reviewed before they are accessible to the public, but that doesn't mean they can't be improved. Here are some ways you can make a difference when you're editing articles.

Make articles easier to understand

  • Adding screenshots is a great way to help users understand what an article is referring to.
  • Adding screencasts in addition to having screenshots, you can create an instructional video, and add it to an article.
  • Find a better way to explain something that is too complex or not very clear.
  • Check our poll results to find out how useful an article has been to our users, or to find an article that needs your help.

Keep articles up-to-date

  • Updating articles for Firefox 3.5 in time for release day is very important. Major updates to Firefox always bring new features, and changes to how existing ones work.
  • If you see an article that's missing a known solution, add it. New solutions to old problems become available through updates to Firefox, other software like plug-ins, or simply by being discovered.
Note: In many cases, information may be purposely not included in order to comply with the Knowledge Base Policies.
