Updating to the new start page

We switched to a new start page! Here's how to update your translations:

Step 1: Create 2 content blocks

  1. Create a content block with the label: HomeSearchTerms . This will appear as the list of terms in the search box.
  2. Create a content block with the label: newtofirefox . This is appear as the "New to Firefox" sidebar box.

The English versions look like this:

Translate the following strings in your content block (not the English one ;) ):

  • New to Firefox?
  • These articles will get you started and browsing like a pro!

Step 2: Update your start pages

Update your start pages with the changes from the English pages.
(NOTE: Update both of your start pages! We do not want them to be different.)

Step 3: Email Chris Ilias

The final step is to switch your start pages to the new theme. To do this, send an email to cilias [at] mozilla.com with your locale, and he will reassign the theme.
