This article describes Firefox's main window. Firefox is highly customizable.

The navigation toolbar is used to navigate the internet. For more information see Navigation Toolbar Items
This toolbar contains chosen bookmarks. For more information see Bookmark Toolbar
The tab bar shows up when multiple tabs are open or can be set to always be shown. For instructions on how to show the tab bar permanently see Tab Options.
The tab selector is used to select between multiple tabs.
Once opened it looks like this:
The tab scroll is used to scroll on the tab bar, when multiple tabs are open overflowing the window.
The viewing window displays the web site you are visiting.
The status bar shows the status of the web page and optional Download manager
These buttons close, make the window smaller, and minimize Firefox
This means connecting or receiving data.
This displays the title of the page and Firefox's signature logo.
This allows you to scroll through web pages.
