If you know beforehand that you want to help with Live Chat at a specific time outside of the official hours, please sign up on this page to let other helpers know. How to sign up
If you want to sign up to help at a specific time, just edit this page and add yourself. To edit this page, you'll need an account on support.mozilla.com. You can log in or register. If you sign up, please indicate your role:
- Anchor: commitment to be around for the majority of the shift listed, taking any chats that go long. If you commit to anchor a shift and must cancel, please let a room monitor know as soon as possible. You don't have to anchor any shifts, please only do so if you are comfortable committing to a particular time. This is for experienced helpers and room monitors.
- Monitor: for room monitors only - commitment to monitor chats and help other helpers during this shift.
- Helper: You will probably be able to take chat requests for most of this shift. If you sign up and know you can't make it, please remove your name from the list.
- Assistant: You can help part of this shift, but not necessarily the entire time. You may choose to take some chat requests or to just help other helpers.
- Advisor: You will be available to help other helpers, but not take questions yourself.
Please note that scheduling is only used when events are happening that may change the hours of operation. Most weeks do not have formal signups.
Firefox 3.5 release
We will be open extra hours to help users getting 3.5 on release day, as well as to troubleshoot on any newly discovered problems with the release. The day is being organized into 2-hour shifts, surrounded by one-hour breaks, starting as soon as 3.5 ships.
To help others decide which times to show up for, please add yourself to the list below for the times you can help anchor a shift, answer questions during a shift, or monitor/assist during a shift. If you don't yet know what times you can help, just show up during any scheduled shift. Thanks for helping make the 3.5 launch a success!
