Knowledge Base articles are reviewed before they are accessible to the public, but that doesn't mean they can't be improved. Here are some ways you can make a difference when you're editing articles.
If you want to discuss an article, comment on the staging copy of the article you want to discuss.
Make articles easier to understand
- Adding screenshots is a great way to help users understand what an article is referring to.
- Find a better way to explain something that is too complex or not very clear.
- Check our poll results to find out how useful an article has been to our users, or to find an article that needs your help.
Keep articles up-to-date
- Updating articles for Firefox 3 in time for release day is very important. Major updates to Firefox always bring new features, and changes to how existing ones work.
- If you see an article that's missing a known solution, add it. New solutions to old problems become available through updates to Firefox, other software like plug-ins, or simply by being discovered.
