How do I edit options to add Adobe to the list of allowed sites

When you try to download Adobe Reader or Adobe Flash Player from Adobe's website, you may find instructions to "Click on Edit Options" to add adobe.com to the list of allowed sites. Adobe's instructions are out of date and should be disregarded.

  1. After you press the Download or Agree and Install now button, a yellow bar will appear at the top of the webpage. Click Allow.

  2. That will prompt the installation of the Adobe Download Manager add-on. Click Install Now.

  3. When the Adobe DLM add-on is installed, click Restart Firefox.

The installation of Adobe Reader or Adobe Flash Player will begin when Firefox has restarted.
