Helping with Forum Support

Are you interested in helping out on the Firefox Support Forums? If so, you've come to the right place!

Let's get started

The Firefox Support Forum is one of the best ways users can get direct help on their specific problem from other users (like you!) who volunteer their Firefox expertise. Users will post their questions in threads and you can propose solutions or ask for more information to narrow down an answer.

Step 1: Get registered

While you can technically answer posts without registering, we think it's really important that contributors do so. We have a ton of tools and features on this site available to contributors and you'll also be identified in bold green font so that users will see immediately which posts are by dedicated helpers.

To register, just go to the registration page, fill out the form and remember to select Contributors where it asks you what group you're in.

Or, if you are already registered (perhaps you are a user who's now looking to give back to the community), just go to the My Account page and under group select Contributors. Then, just enter your current password at the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.

Step 2: Help others

That's it! You're all set. Go to the main Forum page and find some threads you want to help with.

Need help answering a question? No problem. We have a page of tips and resources that may be useful, or you can ask in the Contributors forum.

Taking a break? That's cool, too. Go introduce yourself in the Off-Topic forum and hang out with your fellow Firefox contributors.
