Firefox keeps jumping up and down
If your Firefox window shakes, bounces, or jumps up and down erratically, it is usually because extensions installed by AVG 9.0 for Firefox or other add-ons you have installed.

Windows:
Disable extensions installed by AVG 9.0
Until AVG fixes its extensions, you may disable them:
- At the top of the Firefox window, click Tools and select Add-ons. The Add-ons window will appear.
- Click to select the Extensions panel.
- Select AVG Security Toolbar.
- Click the button.
- Disabling the AVG Security Toolbar does not affect your antivirus or firewall protection settings.
- Select AVG Safe Search.
- Click the button.
- Firefox will still protect you from malicious links (see How the phishing and malware protection in Firefox works for information).
- Click the button to make the changes take effect.
Check extensions and themes
- If you recently switched to a new theme, switch back to the default one - see Customizing Firefox with add-ons.
- If one of your extensions or themes recently updated, try disabling it to see if it is the cause. For instructions, see Troubleshooting extensions and themes.
- If disabling your extensions and switching to the default theme did not work, follow the instructions to Reset Firefox toolbars and controls.
