Firefox crashes due to old Google Desktop versions

Firefox can crash on startup when some files from older versions of Google Desktop are still present. This can happen even if you have the most recent version of Google Desktop.

If you are not using Google Desktop, try the solutions in Firefox crashes.

Solution

  1. Uninstall the old Google Desktop
  2. Download and Install the new version of Google Desktop.
