The Knowledge Base is the backbone of the site; and everyone is encouraged to search the Knowledge Base before asking a question in the forum or Live Chat.
There are a number of different ways to contribute to the Knowledge Base, even if you are not a Firefox expert! If you've contributed to other wiki's it's important to read How we are different.
- Improving current Knowledge Base articles: Look for any content you think is out of date, and updated it. You can help make articles easier to understand, by improving the language or adding screenshots. If you are not a Firefox expert, you can proof-read articles, by correcting spelling, grammar and punctuation. For more information, see Improving articles.
- Suggesting Firefox topics that we should have articles on: You can help gather and investigate the most common issues Firefox users are having; and if an issue is not covered in the Knowledge Base, request that it be covered. For more information, see Requesting an article.
- Translating content to other languages: Even if you are not a Firefox expert, if you know more than one language, you can help translate Knowledge Base articles. For more information, see Translating articles.
