Mozilla Crash Reporter box comes up when I try to open Firefox and it won't restart.

I have another kind of problem with Firefox
Description
The Moxilla Crash Reporter comes up when I try to open Firefox. It says "Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts. I hit the "Restart Firefox" and the Mozilla Crash Reporter breifly goes away, but than reappears and Firefox will not open. No matter how many times I tell it to Restart, the box reappears.
